SASTRA Ramanujan Award for Warwick University faculty:

The International Conference on number theory at the SASTRA Deemed University campus at Kumbakonam and the SASTRA-Ramanujan Award to Adam Harper, Assistant Professor, University of Warwick, England. Professor Krishnaswamy Alladi of the University of Florida and SASTRA-Ramanujan Award Committee chairman quoted that the recognition of the Royal Society at England December 2019 special issue of the Philosophical Transactions to commemorate the Centenary of Ramanujan’s election as FRS published a paper titled Ramanujan’s Legacy. This year’s SASTRA-Ramanujan Award presented to Mr. Harper for his outstanding contributions to the probabilistic number theory.

SASTRA Ramanujan Prize:

Shanmugha Arts found it, Science, Technology and Research Academy (SASTRA) located near Kumbakonam, India, The age limit for the prize has set at 32 (the age at which Ramanujan died), and the current award is $10,000.

University of Warwick:

It is s a public research university on the outskirts of Coventry between the West Midlands and Warwickshire, England. It is founded in the year1965 as part of a government initiative to expand higher education.

Amitabh Bachchan honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award: 
 
The 50th Dadasaheb Phalke Awards honored legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan with India`s highest film honor for his stupendous contribution to Indian cinema, in New Delhi. President Ram Nath Kovind presented the Award to Mr. Bachchan. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar announced that Mr. Bachchan would be awarded the prestigious award. The legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for two generations selected unanimously for Dadasahab Phalke Award.
 
Amitabh Bachchan - Achievements
 
Amitabh Bachchan won four National Film Awards for Best Actor through his illustrious career, last winning it for his performance in the 2015 film Piku.  The award named after Dhundiraj Govind Phalke is the father of Indian cinema instituted in 1969. Amitabh Bachhan made his debut in Hindi film industry in the same year with Saat Hindustani . The highest honour for an artist in Indian cinema comprises a Swarna Kamal medallion, a shawl, and a cash prize of 10 lakh rupees. It was conferred upon late actor Vinod Khanna in 2017.
