About Punjab Agricultural University:
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana, was established in the year 1962, by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, Government of India & State Government, The University play vital role in ushering in the era of Green Revolution and transformation of the National form a food deficit to a food surplus by Research & Development in Agriculture.
The aim of University is to promote faster transfer of technology by developing Research Institutions / Agricultural Universities so that farmers can adopt the technologies to increased production and productivity of district major crops in sustainable manner and also enhance income from allied agricultural sectors.

Educational Qualification:
B.Sc. with minimum OGPA of 2.00/4.00 basis or OCPA 5.00/10.00 basis or 50% marks. M.Sc.in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Life Sciences (Botany/Vegetable/ Biochemistry) with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 or 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks. Master Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 year Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
