Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) was established on 22nd June 1941. HSL headquarters is located at Visakhapatnam. Hindustan Shipyard Limited is involved in Shipbuilding and Ship repair. Hindustan Shipyard Limited is equipped with the plasma cutting machines, steel processing, welding facilities, material handling equipment, cranes, logistics and storage facilities. It also has testing and measuring facilities. The shipyard builds bulk carriers, offshore patrol vessels, survey ships, drill ships, offshore platforms and repair & support vessels. HSL also conducts major overhauls of Indian Navy submarines.

Educational Qualification:
(a) Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University with an aggregate of not less than 55% of marks in the qualifying examination.
(b) ExDefence/CISF/BSF/Police/Paramilitary Forces. Desirable: Diploma or Course in ‘Security’.
