Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University was established in Lucknow in 1996 as Central University (By an Act of Parliament 1994) with the objects of promoting advance knowledge by instructional and research facilities in science, key and frontier areas of technology and other allied disciplines. This University is the Post-Graduate and research University & main objective of this University is to promote professional studies, Inter-disciplinary studies, research and development activities. Educational Qualification:
Master`s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. (55% shall not be insisted for the candidates already Working in the University system) Desirable, Ph.D. with knowledge of working in computerized en Vironment. AND At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. OR institutions of higher education. OR Registrar or an equivalent post.
