About National Institute of Wind Energy:
National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) formerly known as Centre for Wind Energy Technology was established in Chennai in the year 1998 by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The institute offers services and strives to find complete solutions for the kinds of difficulties and improvements in the entire area of the wind energy sector by carrying out further research. NIWE has a Wind Turbine Test Station (WTTS) at Kayathar.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates Should have BE/B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical from a recognized University/Institution. The candidates must have worked for atleast 15 years as Group-A Officer in Central/State/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies in the Renewable Energy areas like Wind, Solar, Hybrid, etc., covering the following areas of work.

How to Apply:
Persons who fulfill the eligibility criteria and agree to abide by the terms and conditions may walk-in to the NIWE campus for an interview between 1O.OO AM and 11.OO AM on LTth November 2OL7 with the duly filled-in application (in the prescribed format - Annexure `A`) by enclosing copies of all certificates in support of age, qualification, experience, etc. They should also bring all the original certificates for verification. Candidates who are present between 10.00 AM and 11.00 AM and fulfill the eligibility criteria alone will be allowed for interview.
