About Regional Medical Research Centre Port Blair:
Regional Medical Research Centre, Port Blair is one of the six Regional Centres of Indian Council of Medical Research. The Centre was incepted in 1983 with the objectives of carrying out biomedical research on communicable and non-communicable diseases prevalent in Andaman and Nicobar Islands with a special emphasis on the health problems of the indigenous tribes and to develop technical manpower locally. However, during the past two five-year plans, the Centre recognized its identity and made rapid strides towards achieving its set objectives.

Educational Qualification:
12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organisation or two years field/laboratory experience in Government recognized organisation. B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience. Desirable: Working experience in virology / microbiology. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

How to Apply:
The candidate should submit the prescribed application form at REGIONAL MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTRE (ICMR), Dollygunj, PORT BLAIR together with self attested copies of all the certificates relating to educational qualification, date of birth, working experiences etc. Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates for verification. The registration process will start at 10:00 am. The exact time of interview/ written test will be intimated to the candidates on 14/11/2017 after completion of the registration process.
