About Uttarakhand Ayurved University:
The Uttarakhand Ayurved University came into existence by the Government of Uttarakhand under the Uttarakhand Ayurved University Act, 2009.The purpose of the university was to give ensuring, effective and planned instruction,teaching,research and development in Ayurved.After the Uttarakhand state was formed, many efforts were made by Uttar Pradesh state government to bring socio-economic manipulations to backward state mostly with difficult geographical conditions. The state has powerful feelings of flora and fauna even with its economic backwardness. Keeping such a scenario in mind the state government have taken major steps in this direction and to set up its first Ayurved University in state which may prove to be an essential step in international field of Ayurved.

Educational Qualification:
Master degree in Organic Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmacognosy with at least 60% marks or equivalent in a CGPA format. Desirable Qualification: (1) Two years research experience in the relevant field (i.e. Molecular Biology/ Cell Culture/Animal handling/Pharmacology/Phytochemistry) supported by publications in SCI-indexed Journals; (2) Qualification of NET/ GATE/ GPAT or equivalent National level test; (3) Good computer skills in software, hardware and networking.
