About Regional Medical Research Centre:
Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), North Eastern Region was established in the year 1982, It’s come under the Indian Council of Medical Research .
The vision & mission of Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) is to develop north eastern States of India in Biomedical Research and build Scientific men power & making a network of health of the region and to collect information about traditional system of medical with a multidisciplinary approach like, Mosquito Borne Diseases / HIV and Drug Abuse / Trematode Infection / Haemoglobinopathies / Medicinal Plants of North Eastern India / Nutrition / Cardiovascular Diseases, etc.
The Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) offers biomedical human resources in north eastern India through term of Training and regular academic Courses like M.Sc in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Ph.D and M D Programmes etc.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates Should have 1st Class Master`s Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences/ Biochemistry subjects or equivalent degree from a recognized University OR 2nd Class M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences Biochemistry subjects + Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
