About Indian Institute of Chemical Biology:
Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) is a biomedical research center in Kolkata, West Bengal. It was established in 1935. It was named as Indian Institute of Experimental Medicine (IIEM). Later on, IIEM was included in Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in the year of 1956 and renamed to its present form in 1982.The institute has developed therapeutic and diagnostic solutions for various diseases. IICB is a multidisciplinary research laboratory under the umbrella of CSIR, Govt. of India.
It has 6 R&D divisions: Cancer Biology & Inflammatory Disorder, Cell Biology & Physiology, Chemistry, Infectious Diseases & Immunology, Molecular & Human Genetics, Structural Biology & Bioinformatics.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates Should have Ph.D in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics. Desirable Experience: Five (5)-Six (6) years of Programming Experience C/C++, Perl, Java.

The engagement is purely temporary and, therefore, does not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for regularisation or absorption against any IICB / CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules. Interested candidates fulfilling all the above conditions may appear for the walk-in-interview to be held on 25.09.2017 at 10.00 a.m. in the Red Carpet Room with the following documents original and self-attested copy - (1) Matriculation Certificate in support of your date of birth, (2) Degree/Diploma Certificate, (3) Original reprints of all testimonials regarding educational qualification, (4) No Objection Certificate from the employer if employed, (5) Ph.D certificate, (6) One Passport size photograph.
