About Cantonment Board St Thomas Mount:
Cantonment Board, St Thomas Mount Cum Pallavaram, Chennai Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1774. It is the second oldest Cantonment Board in the Country, comes under the Ministry of Defence, Central Government of India.The aim of Cantonment Board St Thomas Mount Cum Pallavaram is to create the civil amenities for the civil population residing within the Cantonment, which include Water Supply, Sanitation, Roads & Paths, Drains, Gardens & Parks, Birth & Death Registration, Street lighting, School & Colleges, Hospitals & Dispensary, Libraries, etc.
