About Vector Control Research Centre:
VCRC is one of the permanent institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research established in 1975 at Pondicherry. A centre of excellence for research and training in vector-borne diseases and control and a WHO collaborating Centre for Research and Trainining in Lymphatic Filariasis and Integrated Methods of Vector Control.

Educational Qualification:
First class Master’s degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics from a recognized university with four years R&D/teaching experience in the above subjects after 1st Class Master’s Degree. OR Second Class Master’s degree + PhD degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics from a recognized university with four years R&D/teaching experience in the above subjects after Master’s degree + Ph.D.

How to Apply:
Candidates who wish to appear for the Walk-in-/Interview/Written Test can download the application format given in the Centre’s Web Site (www.vcrc.res.in). Duly filled in application along with the self-attested copies of certificates in proof of Date of birth, Educational Qualification (Certificate/ Statement of marks), Experience as mentioned under essential qualification and Community certificate (SC/ST/ OBC) must be enclosed with the application and submitted at the time of Walk-in-Interview/Written- Test.
