About Agri Food Biotechnology Institute:
National Agri - Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is located in Mohali, Punjab. NABl, Bioprocessing Unit (BPU) and an Agri-Food Biotech Park(ABP) form an Agri-Food Biotech cluster that would act as a "biotechnology hub" in the region. The agri food cluster has been developed to connect 3 essential related biotechnologies of crops, food and nutrition, and carry out bench to market activity through its state and regional resource networks. A translation unit would be established in NABI to form linkages in the region among relevant R&D units, Management Institute and Small & Medium industries. The unit will support, strengthen, and promote innovation.

Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate degree (M.Tech/MCA) in Computer Science/Information Technology OR Graduate degree
(B.Tech/B.E) in Computer Science/Information Technology. Desirable qualification/skills: 1) Should be
proficient in programming in Perl/Python/Java/C++ language etc. 2) Should have knowledge and skills for development of relational database/NoSQL database. 3) Knowledge of working on any MVC based web frameworks. 4) Good understanding of Algorithms and Data Structures. 5) Knowledge of NLP and machine learning 6) Knowledge of parallel programming.

All interested candidates may appear for Walk In-Interview at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute
located at Knowledge city, Sector-81, Mohali- 140306, Punjab on 29 August, 2017 at 09:00 AM along-with the duly filled application form available on the website www.nabi.res.in. The duly filled application form must be submitted at the time of registration at NABI from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM on 29 August, 2017. The candidates must ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed. All the candidates are requested to appear for the interview with full CV, project report, experience certificates, publications and original degree certificates and transcripts. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to disqualification of the candidate(s). NABI may or may not select candidate depending upon the suitability of the candidate to carryout high quality research.
