About National Institute of Homoeopathy:
National Institute of Homeopathy was established on 10th december 1975. National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH) is an organisation under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.NIH is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and conducts Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery [B.H.M.S.] and Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy M.D.(Hom.) in three subjects i.e Organon of Medicine, Repertory and Materia Medica.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates having Postgraduate Qualification in Homeopathy recognised under Second Schedule of Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973: Desirable Qualification: Published Research Work in peer reviewed research journals/high quality academic publication. 2. Post graduate Diploma or Degree in Health Care Management/Hospital Administration.
