About Central University of Jharkhand:
Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a Central University of India. CUJ was established in the year 2009. It is a teaching and research university. CUJ is located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Central University of Jharkhand offers five year "Integrated Masters Programs" in more than 20 disciplines, a few postgraduate programs and Ph.Ds. Educational Qualification:
Minimum 55% in M.Sc. / M.Tech or equivalent in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics OR Minimum 55% in M.Sc. in Forestry/ Botany/ Plant Science/ Agriculture Science/ Ecology and related disciplines with at least PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS along with more than one year of work experience in the field of Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics. #Candidates with NET shall be preferred. NET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET is not conducted. Desirable: Candidates having experience in forestry, large data handling (satellite data, Census, NSSO, NFHS etc.), with working knowledge of hyperspectral/microwave remote sensing, R/ MATLAB software, GPS, DGPS etc., and forest field survey will be preferred.
