Eligible Criteria for UPSC Recruitment :
Educational Qualification :
For Lecturer : Master’s degree in relevant language from a recognised University or Institution.
For Assistant Directors : Master’s Degree in Commerce or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized University or Master’s Degree in Business Administration from a recognized University or equivalent
For Scientist ‘B’ : Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Physical Anthropology/ Forensic Science/ Genetics with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University OR Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Biochemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : 35 years (As on 29.12.2016)
Age Relaxation :
For OBC Candidates : 3 years
For SC/ST Candidates : 5 years
For PH Candidates : 10 years
