- Jawhar Sircar has resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati Corporation. His resignation came 4 months ahead of the end of his tenure.
2) Indian mountaineer Arjun Vajpai scales world`s sixth highest mountain Cho Oyu.
- Arjun is also the third youngest Indian to scale the Mount Everest. He scaled the highest mountain of the world in 2010 at the age of 16 years, 11 months and 18 days.
