Eligibility Criteria for SSC Recruitment :
Educational Qualification :
For Junior Translator & Senior Hindi Translator : Master?s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level OR Master?s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level and Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years? experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
For Hindi Pradhyapak : Bachelor?s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Master?s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute.

Age Limit : 30 years as on 01.01.2016.
Age of Relaxation :
SC & ST Category : 5 years
OBC-NCL Category : 3 years
Ex-Servicemen Category : 03 years
Selection Process : Selection based on Written Examination. The written examination will consist of (Paper-I) Objective Type & (Paper-II) Conventional Type.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through net-banking/credit cards or debit cards or cash through SBI bank challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
