What is SSC? 

Secondary School Certificate is also known as Class 10th (Class X) in Schooling levels. The examination structure differs from board to board. After Passing The Exams, Students gets a certificate with Grades And Percentages. 

Offering The Subjects For TSSSC Exams are: 
  • Telugu 
  • Hindi 
  • English 
  • Mathematics 
  • Science and Technology 
  • Social Science 
Composite Courses In Language Subjects i.e., Telugu + Sanskrit, Urdu + Hindi. 
 
The Distribution Of Marks:

35% Is The Pass Marks For All subjects. The Student Must Qualify In The Exams & At Least Attain 28 Marks Out Of 80 Marks For Theory Paper To pass in Every Subject. Each paper for summative is for 40 marks and the examination duration is 2.30 hours in addition to 15 minutes for reading the question paper. In case of Hindi, it is single paper with 80 marks for summative exam. Further, 20 marks for Formative Assessment for all the subjects. 

In Telangana, SSC board exam is usually conducted in the month of March and April by most of the boards of education in India. An exam schedule is released by the boards at least one month before the exam. 
 
How to prepare For the SSC Exams: 
 
You will be appearing for your 10th board exams this year. Till now you have been competing with classmates but now for the first time you will be exposed to greater competition, with numerous students across the state appearing for exam. 

 

Tips to prepare: 

Know the syllabus clearly: Follow your class lessons properly to cover your syllabus in a systematic manner. 

Highlight important points: Highlight important points and formulae on textbooks and reference books to locate them easily. 

Solve questions: Try and solve the questions at the end of each topic and also the last ten years` papers.
 
Plan your studies: Chalk out a time table for board exam preparation and allocate ample time for each subject.
 
Revise Well: Do not study anything new or from a new book right before exams, as you may get confused. Revise what you have studied and glance at important notes and formulae. Make note of important formulae and keep them handy so that you can take a look at them as an when you want. 

Brief about How the Exams Are Conducted: 
  • TS state conduct the 10th exams as per Secondary School Certificate rules & norms. 
  • Every district will have an headquarters. The responsibilities of these headquarters includes conduction the exams and then evaluation of these exam papers of all the students and consolidation of the all the marks and sending back the report to the SSC board. 
  • SSC board collects all the reports sent out by the district headquarters and they do a final and formal verification of the reports and then results shall be released on the date communicated earlier. 
  • Once the results are released students shall have an option to opt for re-evaluation if they feel they have not got the expected marks. They shall option to choose the number of subjects they wanted to go for re-evaluation. They need to pay a challan for the re-evaluation. Even after this if the student fails in the exams they shall have a supplementary in the month of May and then they shall have the exams next year as well with the regular students.

  • Class 10th exam regular results of AP SSC board are usually declared in the month of May 2016. 
  • Class 10th exam supplementary results of AP SSC board are usually declared in the month of June 2016.
