Activities for your kids in this rainy season

Kids love playing in rain and some of us like to join with them in there act, but the major troubles raises at night when our kiddies start coughing and troubling their sleep. here is a great remedy for all your trouble. plan an outing, give them lot many scopes to play and join with them. here we have collected some of the great suggestions and solutions for you.

It is raining outside, the kids are bouncing off of the walls, and you are in need of rainy day activities to keep them entertained. There are a variety of activities that can be done with any aged children to keep them occupied indoors when going outside is not an option.

When you have kids that love being outside and the rain is keeping them in the house all day, there are plenty of activities your kids can do to have fun inside as well as outside. Teaching your kids how to have rainy day fun will keep them occupied unitl the sun comes out again.

Some Acts:

Plan a treasure hunt for your children. You can hide little items amongst the house and have your children find them. If youre good at hiding, this could take them hours. If the kids are younger you can draw on blank paper what you have hidden and give it to them to find. Have a nice surprise for the child that finds themost items like a good snack or watching their favorite tv show. Ask them to eat less give them a healthy snack.

Theres nothing like camping out in the house! Get some sheets or blankets and make a tent. Give the kids coloring books or books to read. If they are a little older in age, tell ghost stories with a flashlight under the make shift tent. Make sure you have plenty of nourishing snacks and juice packs for the kids. Help the children use their imagination and imagine camping anywhere in the world they would like to be. Camping out can last for hours while they are entertaining themselves in the inside tent. You can even expand the tent between different pieces of furniture and make it as big as youd like to make it.

If you know in advance it is going to be raining for several days in a row, plan in advance an outing to the nearest skating rink, indoor swimming pool or even the library. Many libraries now have a storyteller and this always provides great entertainment for the children. The storyteller usually will dress up in a character they are reading about adding an extra appeal to the children. Let them check out some books they would like to read and most libraries now have movies that can be checked out also. Afterwards, come home and let the children read or watch their movie.

Another fun thing to do on a rainy day to keep your children entertained is to make crafts. You can always take paper plates, macaroni, and food coloring to make a project. Crafts can be done by using household products with little to no money invested. A child will use their imagination and you will be suprised at how created they can be. Take a paper bag and let them paint and make themselves a hat is another great craft to do and they can paint it when they have finished making it. Or give your child some dried beans and let them glue them to a paper plate and make any design they choose.

Every child likes board games as well as cards. Build a house using a stack of cards. This will take some time since usually the cards will fall from time to time and you have to start all over again. You could just play a regular card game that is meant for children like Go Fish or Concentration. Having board games around can be a lot of fun. Especially if the only time you really play the board games is when it is raining outside, the kids will look forward to it.

Dont let rainy days upset your children by having that sad look on their face and the repeated line of "Im Bored". Theres many things to do on a rainy day and the best thing about these inside activities they create memories that last a lifetime.

Some activities with your Kid:

1. Cooking and Baking:

Kids of all ages enjoy cooking and baking. Put your aprons and chef hats on and set the oven to pre-heat as you teach your children about cooking and create a yummy treat. Whether your children are assisting with making a special recipe for lunch or baking sugar cookies for decorating, working together in the kitchen is a great way to create memories that last forever.

2. Arts and Crafts

What child does not enjoy sitting down with a craft box bursting at the seams with paper, markers, glue, sequins, wiggly eyes, pipe cleaners and other craft materials? Whether you have a planned activity in mind or you are letting the children use their imaginations to create a masterpiece of their own, arts and crafts are a wonderful way to keep children occupied, while still being educational. For younger children, you can use art and craft time as a way to review shapes, colors, scissor skills and patterns. Older children can create more complex projects that are still educational. You might consider origami, building a fort out of cardboard boxes or making a guitar out of a cereal box.

3. Board Games

From board games to scavenger hunts, games are a favorite of children and adults. On rainy days, bring out several different board games and let your kids decide what to play. If board games are not an option  or you have declined round 34 of Monopoly Junior, consider going on a rainy day scavenger hunt. This can be done one of two ways. First, create several rain drop or umbrella cut-outs from construction paper and tape them around the house. Set a timer and send your kids off to find all of the cut-outs. Second, you can create a list of objects around the house to be found. Give each child a list of things to find, either separately or together, which will enforce teamwork. Depending on the age of the child, the items can be easy or challenging.

4. Family funda

Encourage your children to deposit their spare change into a family bank that can be used on rainy days. Parents can empty their pockets at the end of the day and children can earn money be performing extra chores or scour the couch cushions for loose change. Use this rainy day fund to take the children to your local childrens museum, where they can play indoors with a variety of educational exhibits. Other options include going out for lunch to your child`s favorite restaurant or spending the money on a new toy or game at the toy store.

5. Others:

Sometimes, you simply cannot have enough ideas for rainy days. Here are a few extra ideas: Paint fingernails, Puppet shows, Act out a play, Have an indoor picnic, Play dough.
