Q1.Candidate filled wrong particulars
A. Please see the correction process at the end of this document. This facility will be available w.e.f 23rd December, 2011.

Q2. Photo pasted without Name & Date or Date & Name has been written manually.
A.
The confirmation page will not be cancelled, if name & date has not been written by the
candidate on Photo.
Q3. Photo not attested.
A.
The confirmation page will not be cancelled.

Q4. Photo pasted colored.
A.
The confirmation page will not be cancelled.

Q5. Form not attested by Gazetted officer/Principal of Institution.
A.
The attestation is required either by Gazetted officer/Principal of the last institution attended.
If confirmation page sent earlier without attestation , the same may be sent again after attestation. There is a provision to re-print confirmation page on AIEEE site.

Q6. Applicant passed XIIth in 2009 but appeared for improvement in 2010 will be eligible or not.
A.
Candidate passed in 2009 but appeared for improvement in 2010 onwards, the confirmation page will be rejected as such candidate is not eligibility to appear in AIEEE 2012.

Q7. Candidate studying / appearing from other state & seeks 1st center choice in different state.
A.
Center will be fixed within four choices by the candidate as far as possible.

Q8. Whether filling of all 4 choices for center are compulsory?
A.
Yes, every effort will be made to allot the Center within choices as far as possible.

Q9. While filling state code of eligibility, which state is applicable ?
A.
State code of eligibility is that from where the candidate passed/appearing in class XII. However, in case of Indian nationals passing the equivalent qualifying examination from any institution abroad, the State of Eligibility will be determined on the basis of permanent address given in the Passport of the candidate..

Q10. Column of thumb impression on confirmation page left blank.
A.
It is mandatory. You can reprint the confirmation page and send the same after putting thumb impression.

Q11. If a candidate has entered wrong Demand Draft No or Not mentioned Demand Draft No or entered wrong date of issue of Demand Draft or left blank the date of issue of demand draft.
A
.  A chance will be given to correct the Demand Draft details. The candidates while checking their particulars may correct the same or fill up the same if already left blank. The form will not be rejected if wrong Demand Draft No has been mentioned. This facility will be available w.e.f
23rd December, 2011.

 Corrections in the Application Form

• CBSE is receiving a lot of requests from the candidates who have already
submitted Applications Online and they would like to carry out corrections in the submitted Application. In this regard, it has been decided that

o Corrections in the application form will be allowed through online Authentication process. Any registered candidate, who wants to carry out corrections is required to enter system generated Registration No (as given on confirmation page), his/her Name, Date of Birth & Mother’s name, which will be validated from the data available in the system, before allowing access to make corrections.

Changes allowed
o Change of Mode of Examination from Offline to Online is only allowed. In
this case their earlier opted offline exam centres become null and void
and candidate will be required to select new exam centre for Online
examination.
o Corrections in the candidate’s general information like Name, Father’s
name, Mother’s name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, PH status, Blind
status, state of eligibility, DD No will be permissible.

Changes not allowed
o Change of Mode of Examination from Online to Offline will not be
allowed.
o Change of request for choice of examination centre will not be allowed.
o Changes in courses already opted will not be allowed.

• Based on new selection of information (mode of exam, category etc.),
examination fee will be calculated. If the exam fee paid as per new options is more than the earlier paid fee then, the candidate is required to pay the balance amount to CBSE through DD. And if the exam fee paid as per new options is less, than the same will be refunded after the examination to the candidate on case to case basis on receipt of request from the candidate with supporting documents.

• After successful submission of change request, an Acknowledge slip will be generated showing their earlier information and new request sought along with balance fee to paid, if applicable. Candidates are required to sign and send to CBSE for further processing.
