Indian Institute of Space science and technology (IIST) announces ISAT-2012 B.Tech admission test

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology offers B.Tech program in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences. An admission test ISAT is conducted to admit students to the B.Tech program. ISAT -2012 ( IIST Admission Test - 2012 ) is conducted on Saturday 21st April, 2012 at 09.00 to 12.00 Hrs. Students who write this examination and qualify will be admitted B.Tech program for the next academic year 2012-13. Online Registration can be done from 1st November 2011.

Indian Institute of Space technology (IIST) is a Deemed university. Department of Space is the promoter of this university. It offers courses from under graduate to doctoral level in Space Science and Technology. It is the first Space University of Asia. It is located at Valiamala, Trivandrum.

IIST offers B.Tech program in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences. Admission is through IIST Admission Test (ISAT). ISAT 2012 will be conducted on 21st April, 2012 at 09.00 to 12.00 Hrs in 22 test centers all over India. The test centers are Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhuvaneswar, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Patna, port Blair, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Vishakapatnam.
Admitted students will get assistance to cover the cost of education, boarding, lodging and health care.
When students complete the course, they will be absorbed in Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) as Scientists/Engineers.
If a student clears ISAT, he gets a free 4 year course with assured employment.
