Raksha Pension Shikayat Nivaran Portal Set By Defence Ministry
The Ministry of Defense established the Raksha Pension Shikayat Nivaran Portal.

- The Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, has established a web Raksha Pension Shikayat Nivaran Portal to address pension-related issues for ex-(ESM) servicemen and their dependents.
- On Armed Forces Veterans Day, he stated that the portal will allow them to directly file complaints with the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW).
- The DESW has also announced that it has allocated Rs 320 crore to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) to address all backlogs of pending welfare applications, particularly schooling and marriage awards for ESM widows and dependant children.
- The Directorate General of Resettlement issued 22,278 job letters to civilian life ESMs in the government sector/PSUs/banks and private sector from April 2021 to December 2021, including 7,898 job letters to newly retired/first-time entrants.
Operation Sard Hawa Launched By BSF:
The Border Security Force (BSF) launches Operation Sard Hawa, which includes increased border surveillance along the Pakistani border.
