NEET UG Merit List Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final, revised scorecards for NEET UG 2024 on July 25, 2024. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had previously announced on July 23, 2024, that the revised final results would be available within the next two days. Candidates can access the final merit list on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in & www.manabadi.co.in once it is published by the NTA.
On July 23, the Supreme Court dismissed petitions seeking the cancellation and reconduct of the NEET UG 2024 exam. The court found no substantial evidence indicating a systemic issue with the exam results. During the hearing, the Apex Court ruled that there was no systemic breach in the NEET UG 2024 examination. While acknowledging the leak of the question paper in Hazaribagh and Patna, the court determined that the results were not compromised.
There is still no clear information on how to check the NEET UG results on a centre-wise and city-wise basis. Unofficial sources suggest that the exam centre code might be required to access these results. On July 18, the Supreme Court, while hearing petitions regarding the NEET-UG 2024 controversy, ordered the NTA to declare the NEET 2024 results city-wise and centre-wise. This decision aims to determine if candidates appearing at allegedly compromised centres scored higher marks than those at other locations. The apex court is expected to give its final verdict on July 22 after reviewing pleas seeking the exam's cancellation, a re-test, and a court-monitored investigation into malpractice allegations.
The NTA is directed to publish the marks obtained by students in the UG-2024 NEET examination without revealing their identities. The results must be declared city-wise and center-wise by 12 noon on July 20, 2024, and uploaded on the NTA website," stated the bench, which includes Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, in its order.
