The National Testing Agency (NTA) officials have released detailed guidelines, emphasizing the presence of candidates for the Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE Main). They have stated that thorough checks, including biometric attendance, are being conducted without fail by the National Testing Agency. Officials, supervisors, staff, and assistants are following the same procedure. Additionally, they have explained the correct procedure for biometric attendance even after restroom breaks. NTA Director Subodh Kumar Singh stated, "To prevent fraudulent activities such as proxies attending exams in place of others (proxy), and to ensure that exams are conducted smoothly without any irregularities, we are implementing this method without any compromise on the rules". In the admission process, candidates undergo screening exams and Biometric verification. They have also mentioned extending this method to other exams. This examination, conducted computer-based from January 24th to February 1st, is being held in 13 languages. The results will be announced on February 12th. With 1.23 million applications for the entrance exam, they have conducted the second phase of the exam in April, as mentioned by the officials.

ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష జేఈఈ మెయిన్‌కు హాజరయ్యే అభ్యర్థులకు విస్తృతమైన తనిఖీలు, బయోమెట్రిక్‌ హాజరు తప్పకుండా ఉంటుందని జాతీయ టెస్టింగ్‌ ఏజెన్సీ(ఎన్‌టీఏ) అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. అధికారులు, పర్యవేక్షకులు, సిబ్బంది, సహాయకులకు ఇదే విధానం అమలవుతుందన్నారు. అలాగే శౌచాలయ విరామ సమయాల అనంతరం కూడా బయోమెట్రిక్‌ హాజరు తప్పనిసరని వివరించారు. ‘‘పరీక్షలకు ఒకరు బదులు మరొకరు (ప్రాక్సీ) హాజరయ్యే మోసకారి చర్యలను నిరోధించడానికి, తప్పుడు మార్గాల్లో పరీక్ష జరగటానికి వీలు లేకుండా ఈ పద్ధతిని తప్పనిసరి చేశాం’’ అని  ఎన్‌టీఏ డైరెక్టర్‌ సుబోధ్‌ కుమార్‌ సింగ్‌ పేర్కొన్నారు. అభ్యర్థుల ప్రవేశంలో స్క్రీనింగ్‌ పరీక్ష, బయోమెట్రిక్‌ తప్పనిసరిగా ఉంటాయన్నారు. ఇతర పరీక్షలకూ ఈ పద్ధతినే కొనసాగిస్తామని చెప్పారు. జనవరి 24వ తేదీ నుంచి ఫిబ్రవరి 1 వరకు కంప్యూటర్‌ ఆధారితంగా ఉండే ఈ పరీక్షను 13 భాషల్లో నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. ఫలితాలు ఫిబ్రవరి 12న ప్రకటిస్తారన్నారు. ప్రవేశ పరీక్షకు ఈసారి 12.3 లక్షల దరఖాస్తులు వచ్చాయని, రెండో దఫా పరీక్షను ఏప్రిల్‌లో నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

As of December 6, 712 students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, had received offers in the ongoing placement session for the academic year 2023–2024. These offers include a range of positions, including financial, analyst, product, software development, and core. The greatest offer from abroad is ₹ 2.05 crore, whereas the highest offer from within is ₹ 1.20 crore. A social media post from IIT Guwahati states that 38% of students have been hired for positions in core sectors, with 36% landing jobs in product and software development. Furthermore, 26% of students reported receiving offers related to financial and analyst profiles.

NTA has released a significant update for those applying to JEE Main. The deadline for submitting applications for JEE Main 2024, the prominent engineering entrance exam for admission to leading educational institutions in the country, has been extended. The last date for the submission of applications for the JEE Main final attempt, scheduled to take place in January, has been extended until 9:00 PM on December 4. This information was disclosed in a public statement. Additionally, it was mentioned that the fee payment deadline has been extended until 11:50 PM on the same day. For those who need to make corrections or modifications in their applications, the opportunity has been provided from December 6 to 8. Applicants are advised to check the https://jeemain.nta.nic.in website for complete updates. NTA has already announced that the JEE Main Session-1 exams will be conducted between January 24 and February 1, as revealed earlier.

The National Testing Agency on Monday revised the dates of the Joint (Main) Entrance Examination for the April 2022 session. According to the revised schedule, JEE (Main) 2022 Session 1 for the 2022-23 academic year will be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29, 2022, and May 1 and 4, 2022.

Previously, the JEE (main) exam of the April 2022 session would be held from April 16 to 21, 2022.

After the announcement of the JEE Main 2022 calendar, several state boards have rescheduled their exams for class 12 candidates. Some of the State Board members will again have to change their exam schedule considering the revised JEE Main 2022 exams.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 will be held on October 3. The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur), which administers the engineering entrance exam, has already released the information booklet on June 26. JEE Advanced is an entrance exam for Under Graduate Engineering, Science, and Architecture programmes at Indias 23 Technical Institutes (IITs). An applicant must be among the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main candidates to be regarded qualified for JEE Advanced.JEE Advanced was originally slated on July 3, 2021, but was postponed due to Covid.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Thursday that the JEE (Main) 2021 session 4 will henceforth be held on the 26th, 27th, and 31st of August, and 1st and 2nd of September 2021. According to him, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been recommended to have a four-week gap between sessions 3 and 4 of the JEE(Main) 2021 Exam.

The third edition of the engineering entrance exam was held from July 20 to 25, and the fourth edition was held from July 27 to August 2. However, due to the Covid crisis, the exam was postponed. The remaining two sessions of the JEE (Main) —2021 will continue on July 20, 2021, according to the NTA.The number of cities has been expanded from 232 to 334 in order to combat the pandemic.

For JEE(Main) 2021 session 4, a total of 7.32 lakh aspirants have already enrolled. Registration for JEE (Main) session 4 is still open, and the registration deadline has been extended until July 20th.
