Elgibility:

Qualification : Minimum educational qualification 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/ Senior School Certificate examination or Intermediate Sciences (I.Sc) or an equivalent examination of the recognized university/ Board of any Indian State with Physics Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional). Candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS : The Children of following category of Army personnel are eligible:-

  • Serving or retired army personnel in receipt of regular pension or SS officers served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years.

  • Army personnel killed in action or those died during their service or disabled in action in Army.

  • AMC / ADC officers presently serving with Navy or Air Force, served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years and are members of AOBF.

  • MNS Officers served in Army for a minimum period 10 years as regular MNS. APS personnel on deputation and have put in at least 10 years of service in Army or who have been directly recruited/commissioned in APS and retired after completing their minimum service qualifying for pension and TA personnel completed 10 years of embodied service.

  • Adopted wards of Army personnel provided they have been legally adopted at least five years before admission

  • Sons/daughters of widows of Army personnel who were born of their mothers first marriage and their mother has later re-married a civilian,

  • Step children of Army personnel who were born out of the wedlock where at least one parent belonged to Army.
  • AGE : Candidates should be at least of 17 years as on 31.12.2008.

    Application procedure:

    Candidates required to buy prospectus of ACMS and Admission Brochure III of GGSIP University and apply to both the institutions separately. Prospectus and Application Form of ACMS can be obtained :

  • By sending a DD of Rs 570/- drawn in favour of Army College of Medical Sciences payable at Delhi (or by hand DD of Rs 500/-) from Registrar Army College of Medical Sciences, Near Base Hospital Delhi Cantt, PIN- 110010. The name, Address and Phone Number of Candidate should be clearly mentioned on the back side of Demand Draft.

  • Admission Brochure III and Application Form of GGSIP University for appearing in (CET: MBBS 2008) can be obtained :-

  • (a)From designated Branches of Punjab & Sind Bank all over India or

  • By post from Joint Registrar (Academic). Room No 108, Administrative Block, GGSIP University, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110403 by sending following

  • An application on plain paper

  • A Demand Draft of Rs 800/- (Rs Eight Hundred only) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The name, Address and Phone Number of Candidate should be clearly mentioned on the back side of Demand Draft.
