Ph.D. in Linguistics 2012 Admission Notification

Applications are invited for the admission into Ph.D. Program in Linguistics at University of Calcutta, Department of Linguistics.

Selection Process:

• Eligible candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the written examination, scheduled to be conducted on the date mentioned below, followed by an interview, to be conducted by the University
• Admission to the program will be granted to a maximum of 5 candidates.
• The final selection will be done on the basis of the interview.
• Candidates, who have already passed NET / SET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship or other equivalent examinations, need not appear for the written examination. They have to appear in the interview

Interested candidates can download the application form from the University Website and to submit the application at the office of the Department of Linguistics, University of Calcutta.
