Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) for PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-12. Date of Exam N/A Note:The GATE/NET qualified candidates will be selected on the basis of direct interview; however, others (GATE/NET not-Qualified candidates) will be required to appear for a written test, followed by interview, to be conducted by ISM. Test Centers The written test will be conducted at Dhanbad, Kolkata, Varanasi, Bhubaneswar and Delhi Fee See the prospectus How to Apply Interested candidates are required to download the application form and information brochure from ISM's official website: http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/. All the information will be made available on the website from November 25, 2011 onwards. Application form will be filled online only; however, candidates must take the printout of the application form. The application fee (nonrefundable) is Rs 1000 which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines, payable at Dhanbad. The duly filled in application form (copy), along with the DD and other requisite documents, should be sent to the Deputy Registrar (Acad & SW), Indian School of Mine, Dhanbad 826004, Jharkhand, latest by December 15, 2011.
