The Seventeenth Convocation of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad will be held in the 3rd week of February, 2009 for conferring Degrees/ Diplomas/ Certificates on successful candidates. All the candidates who have been declared eligible for the award of various degrees such as Ph.D./M.Phil./P.G./U.G. Degree/Diplomas and Certificate courses during the period between March 2008 to November 2008 should apply in the prescribed application form.

The Candidates who are desirous of attending the Convocation in person, may collect the application form free of cost from the respective study centers or from the Examinations Branch, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Road No.46,Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad - 500 033.These candidates should submit the completed application form directly to the Controller of Examinations, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University on or before, 07.02.2009 either in person or by post along with a D.D. for Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only)drawn in favour of Registrar, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University. The cover containing the application forms should be superscribed with Application for XVII Convocation".

The Candidates who are Unable to attend the Convocation personally, may also apply for their Degrees in ABSENTIA through a prescribed application form by paying Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred Only). by way of Demand Draft drawn infavour of The Registrar, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad and the certificates shall be sent by the speed post within a fortnight after Convocation to their respective addresses. The applications received after the last date and incomplete application forms are liable to be rejected.
