Eligibility:

For M. Sc.- Ph.D. Combined Degree and M. Sc. Degree:
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences/Zoology/ Botany/Microbiology/Chemistry/Biochemistry /Environmental Biology/ Biotechnology / Laboratory Techniques/ B. Pharma/ B. V. Sc. or M.B.B.S. with at least 55% marks from University of Delhi or any other examination recognized by the University or equivalent thereto.

For Ph.D. Degree Program:
Master's Degree in the appropriate field of Science, M.V.Sc., M. Pharma or M.D. with a minimum of 55% marks.

Application procedure:
An applicant should submit all the documents listed below; there is an application form needed to be filled up and should reach to the below given address on or before 16th May, 2008.

1. A personal letter of applicant in which the candidate describes academic background, research experience, career goals, and specific reasons for wanting to do graduate work at this University. Candidates should include mailing addresses and telephone numbers so that they may be informed periodically of the status of their applications. Receipt of applications will be acknowledged.

2. Letters of recommendation from two or more sponsors who can assess the applicant's potential for a career in research. In order to make an informed judgement of the suitability of a prospective student for appointment as a research fellow of the ACBR, sponsors should become acquainted with its doctoral program.

3. Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate studies, including summer school.

4. Applicants are encouraged to take the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR. All the documents should be submitted to
