The National Testing Agency (NTA) officials have released detailed guidelines, emphasizing the presence of candidates for the Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE Main). They have stated that thorough checks, including biometric attendance, are being conducted without fail by the National Testing Agency. Officials, supervisors, staff, and assistants are following the same procedure. Additionally, they have explained the correct procedure for biometric attendance even after restroom breaks. NTA Director Subodh Kumar Singh stated, "To prevent fraudulent activities such as proxies attending exams in place of others (proxy), and to ensure that exams are conducted smoothly without any irregularities, we are implementing this method without any compromise on the rules". In the admission process, candidates undergo screening exams and Biometric verification. They have also mentioned extending this method to other exams. This examination, conducted computer-based from January 24th to February 1st, is being held in 13 languages. The results will be announced on February 12th. With 1.23 million applications for the entrance exam, they have conducted the second phase of the exam in April, as mentioned by the officials.

ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష జేఈఈ మెయిన్‌కు హాజరయ్యే అభ్యర్థులకు విస్తృతమైన తనిఖీలు, బయోమెట్రిక్‌ హాజరు తప్పకుండా ఉంటుందని జాతీయ టెస్టింగ్‌ ఏజెన్సీ(ఎన్‌టీఏ) అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. అధికారులు, పర్యవేక్షకులు, సిబ్బంది, సహాయకులకు ఇదే విధానం అమలవుతుందన్నారు. అలాగే శౌచాలయ విరామ సమయాల అనంతరం కూడా బయోమెట్రిక్‌ హాజరు తప్పనిసరని వివరించారు. ‘‘పరీక్షలకు ఒకరు బదులు మరొకరు (ప్రాక్సీ) హాజరయ్యే మోసకారి చర్యలను నిరోధించడానికి, తప్పుడు మార్గాల్లో పరీక్ష జరగటానికి వీలు లేకుండా ఈ పద్ధతిని తప్పనిసరి చేశాం’’ అని  ఎన్‌టీఏ డైరెక్టర్‌ సుబోధ్‌ కుమార్‌ సింగ్‌ పేర్కొన్నారు. అభ్యర్థుల ప్రవేశంలో స్క్రీనింగ్‌ పరీక్ష, బయోమెట్రిక్‌ తప్పనిసరిగా ఉంటాయన్నారు. ఇతర పరీక్షలకూ ఈ పద్ధతినే కొనసాగిస్తామని చెప్పారు. జనవరి 24వ తేదీ నుంచి ఫిబ్రవరి 1 వరకు కంప్యూటర్‌ ఆధారితంగా ఉండే ఈ పరీక్షను 13 భాషల్లో నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. ఫలితాలు ఫిబ్రవరి 12న ప్రకటిస్తారన్నారు. ప్రవేశ పరీక్షకు ఈసారి 12.3 లక్షల దరఖాస్తులు వచ్చాయని, రెండో దఫా పరీక్షను ఏప్రిల్‌లో నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
