AP Go-Number.82 Misappropriation of crores of rupees of different types of fee for Higher Education

1.It has strongly been brought to the notice of the Government that crores of rupees of different types of fee collected from the students during the years from 2011-12 to 2017-18 in Government Degree College for Men, Kurnool, Kurnool District has been misappropriated.

2.Government have examined the matter in detail and hereby appoint Sri Pattanshetti Ravi Subash, I.A.S., Joint Collector (RB & R), Kurnool District, Kurnool as an Enquiry Officer to conduct in-depth enquiry in the matter.

3.Sri Pattanshetti Ravi Subash, I.A.S., Enquiry Officer and Joint Collector(RB& R), Kurnool District is requested to proceed to the Government Degree College for Men, Kurnool, Kurnool District immediately and conduct in-depth enquiry in all aspects, including with reference to the student strength class-wise, year-wise, and the different types of fee that ought to have been collected during those years, the total amounts remitted fee-wise and year-wise, and to find out how much amount was misappropriated year-wise by each official worked in the said college, and also to find out whether the amount can be recovered from them under the APRR Act, and submit detailed enquiry report to the Government within one month, without fail.

4.The Principal, Government Degree College for Men, Kurnool, Kurnool District is directed to immediately make available all the relevant records, Fee Receipt Books, records relating to the fee remitted / deposited into the relevant head of accounts by the college etc. including all other materials connected directly or indirectly to the issue, to the Enquiry Officer, without fail.
