1.In the reference first read above, the Director of Works Accounts has furnished Medical reimbursement proposal of Sri E.C. Gangadhar Reddy, DAO (W) Gr-II, for the expenditure incurred an amount of Rs.87,906/- towards treatment of his father for "Cystoscopy with TURP" at "Lifeline Hospital, Chennai" during the period from 14-08- 2018 to 20-08-2018 and the CEO, Dr. YSR AHC Trust, Guntur have authorized an amount of Rs.44,536/- with a note that the claim be allowed after getting relaxation from the Government.
2.In the reference the fourth read above, the Finance (OP.II) Department has informed that the Hon'ble Minister for Finance vide in the reference third read above has given standard orders in terms of Rule 16 1(a) of A.P Business Rules, 2018 and delegated the powers to the Principal Finance Secretary for final approval of all medical reimbursement claims including the cases where exemptions/relaxations are recommended by the standing committee of officers.
3.After careful examination, Government hereby accord to sanction Rs.40,082/- (Rupees forty thousand and eighty two only ) to Sri E.C. Gangadhar Reddy, DAO(W) Gr-II, for the expenditure incurred towards treatment of his father for "Cystoscopy with TURP" at "Lifeline Hospital, Chennai" during the period from 14-08-2018 to 20-08- 2018, in relaxation of APIMA Rules, 1972.
4.The expenditure sanctioned above shall be debited to "010 salaries-017 Medical Reimbursement" under the relevant Head of Account to which the pay and allowances of the individual are debited.
5.The Director of Works Accounts, A.P, Ibrahimpatnam, shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
