1.In letter 1st read above, the Registrar, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, has stated that Smt.L.Sarojamma, W/o. Sri (Late) L.Muniratnam, Senior Assistant (Retd.), S.V. University, Tirupati has taken treatment for the purpose of "CA Lower Rectum CKD" from 05.02.2018 to 09.02.2018 & 06.03.2018 to 16.03.2018 and her husband expired on 16.03.2018 at Sankalpa Super Speciality Hospital, Tirupati. She had submitted the medical bills for an amount of Rs.1,74,908/- (Rupees One lakh seventy four Thousand nine hundred eight Only) for reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by her husband.
2.In the letter 2nd read above, the Chief Executive Officer, Dr.N.T.R Vaidyaseva Trust, Guntur, has scrutinized the medical bills and allowed for an amount of Rs.1,48,102/- (Rupees One lakh forty eight thousand one hundred two only) with remarked that "the Claim may be allowed on getting relaxation from the Government since treatment obtained in unrecognized hospital".
3.After careful examination of the matter, the Government hereby sanction an amount of Rs.1,48,102/- (Rupees One lakh forty eight thousand one hundred two only) to Smt. L.Sarojamma, w/o Sri (Late) L.Muniratnam, Senior Assistant (Retd), S.V. University, Tirupati towards reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by her for the treatment of her husband Sri (Late) L. Muniratnam, Senior Assistant (Retd), S.V. University, Tirupati at Sankalpa Super Speciality Hospital, Tirupati in relaxation of APIMA Rules, 1972.
4.The Registrar, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati shall take necessary action accordingly.
