Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test 2023 (APRCET 2023) for admission into Ph.D Programmes (Both Full-time and Part-time) offered by the Universities, Research Centres and Affiliated Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2023 will be conducted from 16.10.2023 to 19.10.2023. The eligible candidates are informed to submit their applications through online mode only from 01.09.2023 by paying the application registration and processing fee through AP Online Payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card and Net Banking). The detailed information regarding eligibility, syllabus and model question paper, Mock test, fee details related instructions and procedure for Online Submission of Applications are available on the website sche.ap.gov.in/rcet.
The Part-A of the paper in all subjects including languages are in English only and the Part B of the subjects except languages are in English. For Languages Part B is in the concerned language.
APRCET 2023 Application Form
The application form is available on the university's official website www.sche.ap.gov.in. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements should fill out the application form. Candidates must first register and pay the application fee before applying online. Candidates can access the online application form after paying the fee. The application form must be filled out completely and contain all of the required information.
The online registration fee (application processing fee) for OC applicants is Rs. 1300/-, for SC/ST/PHC candidates Rs. 950/-. The candidate must pay the Registration fee (Application processing fee) via the official website's A.P. Online / Payment Gateways (Credit card, Debit card, Net banking).
The last date for submitting an ONLINE application without a late fee is 24.09.2023, and the last date for submitting an ONLINE application with a late fee of Rs.5000/- is 06-10-2023 to 08-10-2023.

APRCET 2022 Exam Pattern
- An Entrance test shall be conducted for 180 marks.
- The entrance exam for APRCET 2022 is being held in online mode.
- The Entrance Test consists of two parts, i.e., Part-A and Part-B.
- Part-A shall be the Teaching and Research Aptitude for 90 marks
- Part-B shall be the subject specific for 90 marks.

APRCET - 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Ph.D. can be pursued by candidates possessing the minimum qualifications as specified below either on Full-Time (FT)/Part-Time (PT) basis in the Faculties of Science, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Education, Physical Education, Commerce and Management Studies, Engineering and Technology, Architecture & Planning, Law and Pharmaceutical Sciences etc. Admissions into Ph.D. progamme will be made within the framework of reservation rules in force prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time..
- Candidate should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders.
- Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh. The candidate should satisfy local/Non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
- Ph.D can be pursued by candidates possessing the minimum qualifications as specified below either on Full-Time (FT) or Part-Time (PT) basis in the faculties of Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Education, Physical Education, Commerce and Management studies, Engineering & Technology, Architecture & Planning, Law, Pharmaceutical Sciences etc.,. Admissions into Ph.D programs will be made within the framework of reservation rules in force prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
- Candidates for admission into Ph.D programme shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with at least 55% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC-7 point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
- A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/BC/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace marks procedures.
- Ph.D discipline and eligibility in respect of qualifying P.G. Degree shall be clearly notified by the AP ECET Convener.
