Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE Board Class 12 Tentative timetable for the academic year 2023-24. The exams will be conducted from February 15, 2024 to April 02, 2024.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding the date of conduct of practical examinations and uploading of marks at Class XII level for the 2023-24 Board Examinations. The Board also informed that practical examinations should be conducted invariably in two sessions in a day if the number of candidates is more than 20. The Board also directed to upload the marks on the date of the exam from the school where the practical examination will be conducted by the external examiner.The CBSE Board date sheet for the theory papers has not been released yet. The exams for the same is expected to begin from February 15, 2024. the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) generally released date sheet the 2nd week of December. but this year, CBSE class 12th date sheet 2024 published early.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the dates for Class 12 board exam 2024. The board has released the revised date sheet on the official website. The students are advised to visit CBSE official website- cbse.nic.in- to check and download the revised date sheet.
As examination in Skill based subjects and few other academic subjects which are being opted by small number of students will commence Assessment of class 12th from 1st march 2024 (Monday) to the last date of conduct of theory examination of the same class
Practical examinations should be conducted invariably in two sessions in a day if the number of candidates is more than 20.
The marks should be uploaded on the date of examination from the school where practical examination will be conducted by external examiner.

CBSE Notice Regarding Issue of CBSE Admit Card:
CBSE quoted According to Rule 15 of Examination Bye-Laws: Detaining of Eligible Candidate “In no case, the Heads of Affiliated Schools shall detain eligible candidates from appearing at the examination”.
- Board added that the Board issues admit card only to those candidates which have been sponsored by schools in their finalized list of candidate (LOC) of class X/XII. Therefore, the school has already confirmed eligibility of such candidates for appearing in the Board Examinations.
- This being the position, it is reiterated that holding of Admit Card/not allowing the eligible candidate to appear in Practical/Theory Examination in class X/XII is violative of CBSE examination Bye-Laws.
- The school will also not charge any fee for issue of Admit Card to the eligible candidate. The above directions may be strictly adhered to by all the schools.
