The state government has given good news to the SGT candidates who have passed the DSC-2018. The controversy in the courts has been resolved over this.
Education Minister was speaking at a media conference in Amravati. We have already completed the verification of credentials of over 2,200 candidates.
The Commissionerate of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC) has issued a recruitment notification. As per the notification candidates are invited for the recruitment to the posts of School Asst (Special Education) - TET cum TRT vacancies.
The candidates will be recruited in various districts (Inclusive Education for Disabled Children at Secondary Stage(IEDSS).
All the eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the vacancies at the official website - schooledu.ap.gov.in.
Minor changes have been made in the AP District Selection Committee (AP DSC) 2020 examination, said School Education Commissioner Sri Budithi Rajsekhar, IAS.

Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:
Candidates who have any of the below qualifications can apply:
- Bachelor's Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (Spl.B.Ed)
- B.Ed (General) with one year Diploma in Special Education or General B.Ed degree with two year Diploma in Special Education
- General B.Ed degree with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Candidates with age between 18-44 years of age can apply.
School Education Commissioner Sri Budithi Rajsekhar, IAS said that the DSC -2020 hall tickets will be available Soon. Candidates who are applied for School Assistants (Language and Non Language) can download the hall tickets from available soon.
Principal, PG, TG, LPT, PET, Music, Craft, Arts and Drawing Candidates can download from the 20th December. The SGT candidates are required to register the examination options soon of this month. Hall tickets will be available for SGT candidates soon.

Any candidate who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution and secured 50 percent in graduation shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes Ito V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences registration procedure for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) 2020 is beginning from soon.From this year, the registrations will be a two-stage process comprising of Basic Registration and Final Registration.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website https://www.aiimsexams.org. The result of AIIMS-MBBS 2020 entrance exam will be declared soon.
In the first stage (Basic Registration), the AIIMS-MBBS Entrance Examination applicants can initially register by filling basic details and uploading images almost six month in advance. After successful registration, candidates will get confirmation via SMS and email by the competent authority.

In this 7325 posts, there are 3666 SGT, 1625 School Assistant, 452 Language Pandit, 441 PET, 556 TGT, 429 PGT, 77 Principal, 79 Drawing and Dance posts are the vacancies in AP DSC Notification. At a press conference held at Vijayawada on Thursday morning at 9 am, Minister Ghanta Srinivasa Rao will issue a notification for this notification.

Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the honorable chief minister of AndhraPradesh has approved the proposal of recruitment of teachers in AP state through DSC or DSC Examination for the year 2020, said by minister shri. Ganta Srinivas. This process will commence by release of DSC Notification which might take place soon. The minister has instructed DSE board to collect the vacancy list of teachers in all districts. The vacancy list should contain teacher vacancies in various districts till soon and vacancies forms after retirement of teachers for next 3 years that is 2020 and the DSE Board of AP has started working on the same and submitting the list on Wednesday as instructed by honorable minister.
As per the data with DSE Board the total vacancies are 9250 posts primarily. Recently due to regularization and transfer of teachers in AP schools, the vacancy list may vary from 10,351 and will increases.

What is DSC?DSC means earlier conducted by DSC board (District Selection Committee), an entrance exam conducted for the recruitment of teachers by the Andhra Pradesh state government.
How and When to Apply for AP DSC?
AP DSC Method of RecruitmentThe Recruitment shall be through a selection process as decided by the District selection comission (DSC). Out of the Total Marks of , 20% weightage shall be for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) score and 80% weightage shall be for DSC Exams score for all the posts, except for School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher.
For the purpose of selection of Teachers under these Rules, scores obtained in AndhraPradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) /Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with the qualifying marks as given below shall only be considered:

Who Can Write DSC (SGT) (OR) What is the eligibility criteria for DSC (SGT)(1) A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall possess the academic and professional/ training qualifications as follows:- (a) Must be fully qualified for the post applied for and in possession of all Certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission of applications. Age Limit to apply for AP DSC / DSC 2020:No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment to the post of Teacher if he/she is less than 18 years of age and not more than 44 years of age as on 1st day of July of the year 2020 in which the notification for selection to the relevant post, category or class or a service is made. However, in case of SC / ST / BC candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years. Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.

Tahsildar through E-seva/ Mee-seva (G.O. Ms. No. 16 BCW(OP) Dept., Dt.
11/03/2015) and orders and instructions issued by the Government from time to time.
As per General Rules for State and Subordinate Service Rules, Rule -2(28)
Explanation:No person who professes a religion different from Hinduism shall be
deemed a member of Schedule Caste.
NOTE:BC's, SC's and ST's belonging to other states are not entitled for any kind of reservation.
- Local Scheduled Area Candidates:As per G.O.Ms.No.3 Social Welfare(TW.EDN.II) Dept. Dt.10.01.2000 the
appointment of posts of teachers in schools situated in the Scheduled Areas in the
State subject to the modification that all the posts of teachers in the schools situated
in Scheduled Areas in the State of AndhraPradesh shall be filled in by the local S.T
candidates only out of whom 33 1/3 % shall be women (wherever applicable).
Explanation:"The Local Scheduled Tribe Candidate" means, the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Tribes notified as such under article 342 of the Constitution of India and the candidates themselves or their parents have been continuously residing in the scheduled areas of the Districts of AndhraPradesh State in which they are residents till to date since the 26th January, 1950.
NOTE: They will also be considered for selection to the posts notified in Plain Area, if they come up for selection.
- Rerservation to Local Candidates: Reservation to the Local
candidates is applicable as provided in the Rules and as amended from time to time as in
force on the date of notification. The candidates claiming reservation as Local candidates
should obtain the required Study certificates (from IV Class to X Class or SSC) (OR)
Residence Certificate in the Proforma only for those candidates who have not studied in
any Educational Institutions as the case may be. The relevant certificates may be got ready
with authorized signature and kept with the candidates to produce as and when required.
DEFINITION OF LOCAL CANDIDATE:- "LOCAL CANDIDATE" means a candidate for direct recruitment to any post in relation to that Local area where he/she has studied in Educational Institution(s) for not less than four consecutive academic years prior to and including the year in which he/she appeared for S.S.C or its equivalent examination. If however, he/she has not studied in any educational institution and obtained SSC or its equivalent qualification or Open School, Private Study basis, he/she has to produce residential certificate issued by the Tahsildar.
COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)In order to bring in utmost transparency and accuracy in the conduct of examinations, it is decided to conduct Computer Based Test (C- TRT and TET-cum-TRT) on the lines of APTET as per the recommendations of the Commissioner of School Education, A.P., Amaravathi. The Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) and Teacher Eligibility Test cum Teacher Recruitment Test (TET-cumTRT) as CBT shall be conducted in order to do away with the present cumbersome process that involves large human contingent and the consequent expenditure involved. (b) The Computer Based Test involves pre-examination work viz. registration of candidates and application processing, identification of test centers as approved by the Technical Team of the Convener, Test Centers management and generation of hall tickets followed by development of error- free question paper sets/bank and its management, and also creation of awareness to the Candidate about CBT by means of conduct of mock tests and preparatory test. The examination management includes digitization and secured transfer of the question paper to the test centers, conduct of test, processing of scores and generation of ranks as per the G.Os of the respective CETs. (c) PROCESS INVOLVED IN COMPUTER BASED TEST (i) The agency identified by the Commissioner of School Education shall design, develop and host the web based secured application form for Department and accept applications. (ii) Integration with Payment Gateway for online fee payment. (iii) Test Centres should be identified by the agency and should meet rigorous compliance process. The Test centres should also be completely secured & sanitized to prevent any malpractices. (iv) Standard test centres used for prestigious nationwide competitive exams like IIT JEE Main, IIT GATE, IIM CAT, RRB, IBPS etc should be utilized for AP TRT and TETcumTRT Exam. (d) COMPUTER BASED TEST for TRT and TETcumTRT (i) The Computer Based Test shall be conducted in all the districts. A candidate shall appear for the Written Test in the district in which he/she seeks recruitment (or) in neighbouring districts of adjacent states. (ii) The Commissioner of School Education shall issue detailed instructions to ensure proper conduct of TRT and TETcumTRT. (iii) The candidates who are found copying or resorting to other means of malpractice shall be expelled from the examination hall apart from being debarred from appearing for the examinations conducted by the District selection Committee for three consecutive examinations besides taking action as per the Andhra Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair means) Act, 1997 (No. 25 of 1997). (iv) Disciplinary action shall be initiated against such staff who are found negligent in the discharge of their duties and an entry shall be made accordingly in the Service Register of the concerned staff besides taking action as per the Andhra Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and unfair means) Act, 1997 (No. 25 of 1997). (v) The written test will be in the medium opted by the candidate. (vi) One Gazetted Officer of School Education Department (MEO/Gazetted Head Master/Deputy DEO) may be drafted as Departmental Officer for the centers to assist the Technical persons.
CONSTITUTION OF CENTERSInstitutions having spacious and sufficient number of rooms are to be constituted as Examination centres. Institutions proposed to be constituted as Examination centres shall be inspected by District Educational Officer of the concerned District personally. The number of rooms available in each centre and number of candidates to be accommodated in each room shall be ascertained before allotting the candidates to any of the Examination Centres. (i) The identification of Examination centres and confirmation of Examination centres is the sole responsibility of the Agency which is entrusted to conduct A.P. Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) and Teacher Eligibility Test cum Teacher Recruitment Test (TETcumTRT) as Computer Based Test. (ii) Each Centre should be equipped with good accommodation, furniture and computer infrastructure. Each Centre shall have a capacity to accommodate 300-500 candidates in a single session. (iii) The Centres in the District shall be identified in District Head Quarters, Municipalities, Revenue division and Mandal Headquarters only. (iv) Where required based on number of applicants particular category of post and subject centres may be identified in the adjacent districts of neighbouring states.
ISSUE OF HALL TICKETSHall Tickets shall be issued to the candidates in the manner prescribed by the Commissioner of School Education.
PUBLISHING OF THE INITIAL KEY AND FILING OF OBJECTIONS(i) The Commissioner of School Education shall issue the schedule of notification, Payment of fees, Conduct of CBT, Release of Initial Key/Final Key and declaration of results. The Commissioner of School Education being the competent authority to publish the initial key of the question after the conduct of CBT inviting objections through online, if any, from the candidates who appeared for the CBT, duly giving a reasonable time to the candidates for filing objections on the initial key and the same shall be disposed of by the expert committee constituted by the Commissioner of School Education. The final key shall be published for the information of candidates. Any representation / petition /objection on the initial key after the above stipulated period shall not be entertained. (ii) The Commissioner of School Education is authorized to dispose of the Computer Based Test information relating to the Teachers Recruitment Test after one year from the date of declaration of results/display of selection lists, whichever is later. Request for furnishing any information relating to Computer Based Test (CBT) after the prescribed period will not be entertained under these rules and other Acts / Rules.
How to apply for AP DSC / DSC 2020?AP DSC / DSC (DSC) 2020 can be applied online through the official website www.appsc.gov.in.
The application form for AP DSC / DSC 2020 exam will be available in www.appsc.gov.in under the recruitment category. It can be filled and submitted online itself.
Fee to be paid:
Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee, each subject applied for.
This apart, the applicants have to pay RS. 80/- (RUPEES EIGHTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee.
However, the following category of candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fee.
- BC, SC & ST of Telangana State
- Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years of Telangana State (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).
- PH & Ex-service men.
Important Note: BC's, SC's and ST's belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled for any kind of reservation.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
The Fee mentioned above is to be paid online through SBI ePay duly following online instructions once the application form details are submitted by filling APPSC ID, date of birth and other particulars.
The fee once remitted, shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, application fee, wherever applicable will entail total rejection of application.
Things to keep ready before filling up the AP DSC / DSC (DSC) 2020 Application form:
The following Certificates should be obtained from Govt. of AndhraPradesh (AP) State in prescribed proforma for the purpose of verification.
- Community Certificate.
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate as per Form- VIIB / Creamy Layer Certificate as per Form- VIIC.
- Certificate of Residence / Nativity (where the Candidates not studied in School / Private Study)
The following Certificates (whichever is applicable) should be obtained from Competent Medical authority for the purpose of verification.
Instructions for Filling the Application Form:
- Applicant must compulsorily fill-up all relevant columns of application and submit application through website only. The particulars made available in the website shall be processed through computer and the eligibility decided in terms of notification.
- The applications received online in the prescribed proforma available in the website and within the time shall only be considered and the Commission will not be held responsible for any kind of discrepancy.
- Applicants must upload his/her own scanned photo and signature through J.P.G format.
- The applicants should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or suppress any material information while making an application through website.
- All the essential certificates issued by the competent authority of Telangana State shall compulsorily be kept with the applicants to produce as and when required to do so. Failure to produce the required certificates on the day of verification will lead to disqualification.
- Important: The claim of the candidates with regard to the date of birth, educational / technical qualifications, experience and community are accepted only provisionally on the information furnished by them in their application form and is subject to verification and satisfaction of the Commission. Mere admission to any test or interview or inclusion of the name of a candidate in a Merit List will not confer on the candidate any right for appointment. The candidature is therefore, provisional at all stages and the Commission reserve the right to reject candidature at any stage of the selection even after the advice has been made.
How to upload the filled Application Form?
- The Applicants have to read the User Guide for Online Submission of Applications and then proceed further. The Candidate has to visit the WEBSITE www.apdsc.gov.in and fill the application according to the guidelines provided at the time of registering for applications on Website. While filling the application form, the candidates have to ensure that there are no mistakes in it. The Commission bears no responsibility for the mistakes, if any, made by the candidates.
- Hand written/ Typed/ Photostat copies/ outside printed Application Form will not be accepted and liable for rejection.

SELECTION CRITERIA(i) For School Assistants (SAs) and Language Pandits (LPs) selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test(TRT) and APTET(20%) Weightage except SchoolAssistant (Physical Education) duly following the Provisions of Rule 18. (ii) For School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (TRT), Physical Efficiency Test Marks and APTET (20%) weightage duly following the Provisions of Rule 18. (iii) For Music Teachers selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (TRT) and Skill Test Marks duly following the Provisions of Rule 18. (iv) For Craft and Art& Drawing teachers selection will be on the basis of marks secured in the Written Test (TRT) only duly following the Provisions of Rule 18. (v) For Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) selection will be on the basis of marks secured in the Written Test (TETcumTRT) duly following the Provisions of Rule 18. (vi) The selection of candidates for the posts in Plain/Scheduled (agency) area under the control of Tribal Welfare Department shall be taken up only after the selection of candidate for the posts in Plain/ Scheduled (agency) area under the control of District Educational Officer is completed. The candidate can, however express option by indicating his/her willingness in the application itself. Note:- The candidates who have already qualified in earlier APTETs shall compulsorily write the TET-cum-TRT Test for appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher in Government / Zilla Praja Parishad / Mandal Praja Parishad / Municipality/Tribal Welfare Schools. For this 20% weightage, candidates will be having option either to consider 20% of earlier TET scores or 20% of present marks whichever is higher. The TET-cum-TRT marks will be valid for this particular recruitment only.

HOW WILL THE SELECTED CANDIDATES BE APPROACHED?The APPSC shall approach the list of selected candidates prepared separately for each unit of appointment to the Appointing Authority concerned, along with the applications of the candidates, who in turn shall issue the Appointment Orders as per the relevant Rules and Posting Orders to the selected candidates as per the choice exercised by the selected candidates in the counselling for the schools under the control of the Appointing Authority. Detailed guidelines regarding the counselling procedures etc., will be issued separately.
The qualifications prescribed for Direct Recruitment of the Teachers vide G.O.Ms.No.11, School Education(Ser.II)Department, dated 23.1.2009 and G.O.Ms.No.12, School Education(Ser.II) Department, dated 23.1.2009 shall stand amended by the qualifications prescribed for the Direct Recruitment of the Teachers in these Rules(Rule-4).
Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary contained in any other rules relating to the recruitment of Teachers, the provisions of these rules shall prevail and be applicable for the purpose of recruitment of Teachers, 2020.
