TG EAPCET 2026 Phase 2 Provisional Seat Allotment<\/strong> Soon<\/strong><\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The TG EAPCET 2026 Phase 2 Counselling<\/strong> is scheduled to commence on July 17, 2026<\/strong>, providing another opportunity for candidates who were not allotted a seat in Phase 1<\/strong>, did not participate in Phase 1<\/strong>, or wish to secure admission to a better college or branch. New candidates must complete Online Registration, Counselling Processing Fee Payment, and Slot Booking for Certificate Verification<\/strong> on July 17, 2026<\/strong>. Certificate Verification is scheduled to be conducted on July 18, 2026<\/strong>, followed by Exercising Web Options<\/strong> from July 18 to July 19, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates should note that the Web Options exercised during Phase 1 will not be carried forward to Phase 2<\/strong>. All eligible candidates, including those seeking admission to a better college or branch, must exercise a fresh set of Web Options<\/strong> before the Web Options Freezing<\/strong> deadline on July 19, 2026<\/strong>. The TG EAPCET 2026 Phase 2 Provisional Seat Allotment<\/strong> is scheduled to be released on or before July 22, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates who are allotted a seat must complete Online Tuition Fee Payment (if applicable)<\/strong> and Online Self-Reporting through the counselling portal<\/strong> between July 22 and July 24, 2026<\/strong>, as both steps are mandatory to confirm admission. Thereafter, candidates must report to the allotted college<\/strong> between July 25 and July 28, 2026<\/strong>, carrying all the required original certificates and admission documents to complete the admission process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates can also use the TG EAPCET 2026 College Predictor<\/strong> and Counselling Simulator<\/strong> to estimate their admission chances based on their TG EAPCET 2026 Rank, Reservation Category, Gender, Local Area Status, previous years’ cutoff ranks, and seat allotment trends<\/strong>. A total of 60,792 candidates<\/strong> submitted web options in the second phase of engineering counseling and are competing for B.Tech seats. Although 79,000 candidates<\/strong> secured seats in the first phase, only 60,300 candidates<\/strong> completed online self-reporting. Officials stated that a majority of them submitted web options again in the second phase in pursuit of better colleges and courses. A total of 26.55 lakh web options<\/strong> were recorded, averaging around 44 options per candidate<\/strong>. Seats for these candidates will be allotted on the 22nd of this month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B.Tech seats<\/strong> in the state are set to increase significantly<\/strong>. Additional seats<\/strong> will be included in the second phase of engineering counseling<\/strong>, which is scheduled to begin this Friday<\/strong>. For the 2026\u201327 academic year<\/strong>, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)<\/strong> has sanctioned approximately 15,000 additional B.Tech seats<\/strong> to colleges. Whether these seats will be approved depends on the state government’s decision<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, N. Sridhar, Principal Secretary to the CM Office<\/strong>, along with education department officials<\/strong>, met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy<\/strong> on Thursday to discuss the matter. Following the Chief Minister’s approval<\/strong>, officials under the leadership of Sridevasena, Commissioner of the State Technical Education Department and EAPCET Admissions Convenor<\/strong>, have commenced the groundwork to finalize the college-wise and seat-wise allocation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is reported that around 4,000 seats<\/strong> might be increased. Out of these, 70% of the seats<\/strong> will be included in the counseling under the Convenor Quota<\/strong>. As web options are scheduled to begin on the 18th of this month<\/strong>, clarity is expected by Friday midnight or Saturday morning<\/strong>. Fearing that some colleges might approach the courts<\/strong> if they are not allocated additional seats, officials are carefully reviewing the number of colleges and additional seats<\/strong> that can be approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
