NEET Exam Pattern 2023 | Paper Pattern:
The National Testing Agency will publish the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) Exam Pattern. NEET UG Exam Pattern:
The NEET UG exam will be administered by the National Testing Agency. The exam is held to select candidates for various Undergraduate Medical Courses offered at institutions throughout the country. The examination will be held in accordance with the norms and guidelines established by the conducting body. The exam is the same for all UG courses. There will be no division based on courses. The following is the expected NEET UG 2023 Exam Pattern.
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode with OMR sheets.
- The question paper is divided into two sections: Section A and Section B.
- All the questions will be from the subjects: Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- With 35 questions from each subject, Section A will have the compulsory questions. Candidates have to attend all 35 questions from this section.
- Section B will have 15 questions from each subject. In this section, candidates can choose 10 questions from each subject and answer them.
- The total marks of the question paper are 720.
- The duration of the test is 3 hours and 20 minutes.

NEET 2023 Marking Scheme (Expected):
The Marking Scheme for the exam for the UG is listed by the NTA. The pointers provided regarding the Marking Scheme for the exam are as follows.
- Each question carries 4 marks.
- Every right answer will be awarded 4 marks each.
- One mark will be reduced from the total score for every wrong answer.
- Unanswered questions will be awarded no marks.
- If there is more than one answer correct in a question, then 4 marks will be awarded to all the candidates who have chosen any one of the options.
- If all the options in a question are found to be correct. Then, 4 marks will be awarded to all the candidates who have attempted the question.
- If the question or the options provided are found to be wrong. 4 marks will be awarded to all the candidates irrespective of the fact whether they have answered it or not.
NEET 2023 Exam Pattern: Language Option:
For UG courses, the NEET exam is given in a variety of languages. Candidates can choose the language in which they want to take the exam when filling out the application form. Regional languages and Hindi are only available in a few locations across the country. Candidates should keep an eye out for exam centres that offer the desired language.
