The official provisional Re-NEET answer key by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to be released on June 24, 2026. Candidates will be able to download the answer key PDFs, view their OMR sheets, and challenge the provisional answers on the Official NTA NEET Website.

The Wait for Re-NEET UG Answer Key 2026 has begun as lakhs of medical aspirants across India appear for the re-examination conducted on June 21, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam are eagerly searching for the Re-NEET Answer Key 2026 PDF, NEET UG 2026 Answer Key Download, NEET OMR Sheet PDF, NEET Score Calculator, and NTA NEET Answer Key Release Date.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to publish the official provisional Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key within 5 to 10 days after the examination, allowing candidates to verify their responses, estimate scores, and raise objections if required. Along with the answer key, NTA is also expected to release the recorded responses and scanned OMR sheets through the official candidate portal.

The release of the answer key is a crucial milestone because the original NEET UG examination conducted in May 2026 was cancelled, making the June 21 re-examination the deciding test for admissions to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, Nursing, and other medical courses across India.

Manabadi.com is one of India’s leading educational portals providing timely updates on entrance examinations, answer keys, results, admit cards, counselling schedules, and admission notifications. Students regularly rely on Manabadi for the latest information regarding NEET, JEE, CUET, BITSAT, AIIMS, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, SSC, Inter Results, and various university admissions. Candidates can visit Manabadi for quick access to the latest Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key updates, expected cutoffs, result announcements, and counselling information.

Re-NEET UG Answer Key 2026 Overview

Particulars

Details

Exam Name

Re-NEET UG 2026

Conducting Authority

National Testing Agency (NTA)

Exam Date

June 21, 2026

Answer Key Status

To Be Released

Expected Release Date

Within 5-10 Days After Exam

Mode of Release

Online

Official Website

neet.nta.nic.in

Answer Key Type

Provisional and Final

OMR Sheet Availability

Yes

Objection Facility

Available

Objection Fee

₹200 Per Question

Result Mode

Online

Expected Result Date

July 2026

Re Neet 2026 Paper Level:

The re-NEET 2026 paper was overall moderate to difficult. Physics was the toughest and lengthiest section with calculation-heavy numericals. Chemistry was moderately difficult and highly NCERT-oriented, while Biology was the most scoring section, though some questions were analytical.

Subject-Wise Breakdown

Physics: Rated as the most challenging and time-consuming part of the exam. It relied heavily on application-driven numericals from chapters like Mechanics, Electrodynamics, and Thermodynamics.

Chemistry: Balanced and heavily sourced from NCERT. Organic Chemistry required clear concept application, while Physical Chemistry featured calculation-based problems.

Biology (Botany & Zoology): Deemed the easiest and highest-scoring section. Questions were direct but required a solid grasp of Class 12 concepts and genetics/ecology.

Expected Cut-off & Scoring Trends

Due to the lengthier Physics paper and strictly NCERT-oriented questions, the expected safe score to land a seat in a Government Medical College is generally estimated between 610 and 650 marks out of 720.

Why the Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key Is Important

The answer key serves multiple purposes for candidates. It allows students to compare their marked responses with the official solutions and estimate their probable score before the declaration of results.

The Re-NEET Answer Key 2026 helps candidates:

Estimate their score before results

Predict chances of MBBS admission

Analyze mistakes made during the examination

Assess expected rank

Prepare for counselling decisions

Challenge incorrect answers released by NTA

For many students, the answer key becomes the first indicator of whether they are likely to secure admission into top government medical colleges.

Expected Release Date of Re-NEET Answer Key 2026

Based on previous trends followed by NTA, the provisional answer key is expected to be released between June 24 and June 30, 2026.

In earlier NEET cycles, NTA typically released the provisional answer key within a week of the examination. Candidates should therefore monitor the official portal regularly after the examination concludes.

Once released, candidates can download:

Provisional Answer Key

Question Paper

Recorded Responses

Scanned OMR Sheets

These documents collectively help students calculate their scores accurately.

How to Calculate NEET UG 2026 Score Using Answer Key

Candidates can estimate their score using the official marking scheme prescribed by NTA.

You should definitely add a dedicated section on the NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet (Recorded Responses) because it is a high-search-volume keyword and improves SEO rankings for terms like “NEET Response Sheet 2026”, “NEET Recorded Responses PDF”, and “NEET OMR Response Sheet Download”.

Add the following section after “How to Download Re-NEET UG 2026 Official Answer Key”:

Re-NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet (Recorded Responses)

Along with the provisional answer key, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the Re-NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet, also known as the Recorded Responses Sheet. This document contains the exact answers marked by candidates during the examination and helps them accurately compare their responses with the official answer key.

The response sheet is considered one of the most important documents released before the declaration of results because it enables candidates to calculate their probable score and identify any discrepancies in the recorded answers.

What Is the Re-NEET Response Sheet 2026

The response sheet is a digital record of all answers selected by a candidate during the examination. NTA uploads these recorded responses through the candidate login portal along with the provisional answer key.

Using the response sheet and answer key together allows students to estimate their NEET score with greater accuracy before the official results are announced.

Details Available in the Response Sheet

The Re-NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet is expected to contain:

Subject-wise Questions

How to Download Re-NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet

Log in using Application Number and Password.

Open the Recorded Responses section.

Download and save the response sheet PDF for future reference.

Why the Re Neet Ug Response Sheet Is Important

The response sheet helps candidates:

Verify answers recorded by NTA.

Calculate probable NEET scores.

Compare answers with the official key.

Identify any discrepancies before the objection window closes.

Make informed decisions regarding expected rank and counselling opportunities.

Candidates are advised to download the response sheet immediately after it becomes available, as it serves as the primary document for score estimation and answer key challenges.

Score Calculation Formula

Total Score = (Correct Answers × 4) – (Incorrect Answers × 1)

Example Calculation

Suppose a candidate answers:

Correct Answers = 150

Incorrect Answers = 20

Score:

= 600 – 20

Candidates can use this formula immediately after matching responses with the answer key.

How to Challenge Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key

NTA provides an opportunity for candidates to challenge answers they believe are incorrect.

Steps to Raise Objections

Login to the candidate portal.

Select the answer key challenge option.

Choose the question to challenge.

Upload supporting documents.

Pay the prescribed fee.

Submit the objection.

Challenge Fee

₹200 per question

The fee is generally non-refundable and must be paid online.

Candidates should support objections with authentic academic references, preferably from NCERT textbooks, which remain the primary source for NEET UG questions.

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?

After reviewing all objections submitted by candidates, NTA forwards the challenges to a panel of subject experts.

The expert committee evaluates:

Accuracy of the original answer

Validity of candidate objections

Supporting academic references

If a challenge is found valid, the answer key is revised accordingly.

The revised version becomes the Final Answer Key, which forms the basis for result preparation.

No further objections are accepted after the release of the final answer key.

Expected Re-NEET UG 2026 Cutoff Trends

The actual cutoff will depend on:

Exam difficulty level

Number of candidates

Overall performance

Seat availability

Based on recent NEET trends, the qualifying percentile is expected to remain unchanged.

If the re-examination paper is more difficult than previous years, cutoff marks may witness a decline.

NEET UG 2026 Tie-Breaking Rules

In cases where multiple candidates obtain identical scores, NTA follows a predefined tie-breaking mechanism.

The sequence generally includes:

Higher Biology Score

Preference is given to candidates with higher marks in Biology.

Higher Chemistry Score

If the tie remains, Chemistry marks are considered.

Higher Physics Score

Physics marks become the next deciding factor.

Fewer Incorrect Answers

Candidates with fewer negative responses receive preference.

Application Number Order

If all other criteria remain identical, application number order may be considered.

When Will Re-NEET UG 2026 Result Be Declared?

Following the release of the final answer key, NTA is expected to announce the Re-NEET UG 2026 results in July 2026.

The scorecard is expected to contain:

Candidate Name

Roll Number

Percentile Score

All India Rank

Category Rank

Qualifying Status

The result will determine eligibility for admission into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, Nursing, and Allied Health Science programs.

What Should Candidates Do After Checking the Answer Key?

Candidates should:

Calculate estimated scores.

Compare performance with previous cutoff trends.

Keep documents ready for counselling.

Monitor NTA notifications regularly.

Preserve downloaded answer key and OMR sheets.

Students expecting strong scores can simultaneously begin researching counselling procedures and medical college preferences.

Final Words

The Re-NEET UG Answer Key 2026 is expected to play a crucial role in helping candidates assess their performance after the June 21 re-examination. The provisional answer key, OMR response sheet, and challenge facility will provide transparency in the evaluation process and allow students to estimate their scores well before the declaration of results.

The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2026 counselling process is set to begin with the First Phase from June 19, 2026. During this phase, candidates must complete registration, certificate verification, and web option entry to participate in the seat allotment process. After the completion of counselling, the Phase 1 seat allotment results will be announced, followed by tuition fee payment and self-reporting within the stipulated schedule.

The Second Phase of TG EAPCET 2026 counselling is expected to commence from July 17, 2026, providing another opportunity for candidates who were not allotted seats in the First Phase or those seeking an upgrade to a better college or branch. Similar to the first phase, this round will include registration (if required), certificate verification, web option entry, and seat allotment. Candidates are advised to carefully prioritize their choices while exercising web options to improve their chances of securing their preferred course and institution.

TS EAPCET Second Phase Counseling: Expected Seat Hike

As the first phase of Telangana engineering counseling begins on June 19, details regarding significant changes and a potential seat hike for the Second Phase of Counseling have emerged. Candidates participating in the subsequent rounds should keep a close watch on the following critical updates:

15,000 Additional Engineering Seats Awaiting Government NOC

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has officially approved 15,000 new engineering seats in the state for the current academic year. These include approvals for brand-new courses as well as additional intake in existing branches.

Why the Second Phase? Because JNTUH and Osmania University completed their initial college inspections based on last year’s seat capacities, fresh inspections must now be conducted to verify faculty, labs, and infrastructure for these new batches.

Availability: Educational officials estimate that even if the state government swiftly clears the No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy finalizes the decision, these 15,000 seats will only be available starting from the Second Phase of Counseling.

Last Year’s Second Phase Stats

Allowing seat additions during the second phase is a recurring trend in Telangana engineering admissions. For reference:

During the previous academic year’s admission cycle, the government granted permission for 7,650 additional seats exclusively during the second phase of counseling.

A similar or significantly larger addition (up to 15,000 seats) is highly anticipated for this year’s second phase.

Shifting Focus Towards Core Branches

The Technical Education Department is currently analyzing branch-wise demand. While nearly 70% of existing seats are concentrated in Computer Science (CSE) and allied branches, officials note signs of rising demand for core engineering branches this year. The final seat matrix for the second phase will depend on the university reports being compiled for the Chief Minister regarding infrastructure readiness and past admission trends.

Quick Reminder for Phase 1 Candidates: While the massive seat hike is expected to clear by the second phase, the first phase counseling officially commences on June 19, with the window to exercise web options opening on June 25. Candidates who miss out on their preferred choices in the first round will have a significantly larger pool of seats to target in the second phase.

For candidates who did not attend the First Phase and Second Phase, online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee, and slot booking for certificate verification will be conducted on July 31, 2026. Certificate verification for already slot-booked candidates will be held on August 1, 2026.

After successful certificate verification, candidates can exercise web options from August 1 to August 2, 2026. It is mandatory for all candidates participating in the Final Phase to exercise options afresh, as earlier phase options will not be considered. Candidates are advised to carefully arrange their preferences in the order of priority to maximize their chances of securing a seat in their desired college and course.

Registration, Processing Fee Payment and Slot Booking

Candidates who did not participate in the First Phase and Second Phase of TG EAPCET 2026 counselling will get a final opportunity to participate in the admission process. Such candidates are required to complete the online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee, and slot booking for certificate verification on July 31, 2026. During slot booking, candidates should select a convenient Help Line Centre along with the date and time for certificate verification.

Certificate Verification

Candidates who have already booked their slots for the Final Phase must attend certificate verification on August 1, 2026. Only those candidates whose certificates are successfully verified will be eligible to exercise web options and participate in the Final Phase seat allotment process.

Exercising Web Options

Candidates can exercise web options from August 1 to August 2, 2026. It is mandatory for all candidates participating in the Final Phase to exercise options afresh, as the options exercised in the earlier phases will not be considered. Candidates are advised to arrange colleges and branches in the order of preference and enter as many options as possible to maximize their chances of securing a seat.

Candidates who physically reported at their allotted college after the Second Phase are eligible to exercise options in the Final Phase. However, candidates who cancelled their seats in earlier phases are not eligible to participate. If a candidate exercises options in the Final Phase and secures a new allotment, the previous allotment automatically stands cancelled, and the candidate will have no claim over the earlier seat.

Candidates who are satisfied with their existing allotment need not exercise options again. However, they must report physically at the allotted college after the completion of the Final Phase; otherwise, their allotted seat will stand cancelled.

Freezing of Options

Candidates should carefully review and finalize their options and freeze them on or before August 2, 2026. Since seat allotment is made strictly based on merit, reservation category, local area status, and the order of options exercised, candidates are advised to verify their choices before freezing them.

Seat Allotment

The Provisional Seat Allotment for the Final Phase will be released on or before August 5, 2026. Candidates can download their allotment order using their ROC Form Number, Hall Ticket Number, Password, and Date of Birth. The allotment order contains details regarding the allotted college, branch, and tuition fee payable.

Payment of Tuition Fee and Self-Reporting

Candidates who are allotted seats must pay the prescribed tuition fee, if applicable, and complete self-reporting through the website between August 5 and August 7, 2026. Candidates with zero tuition fee mentioned in the allotment order are exempted from payment but are still required to complete self-reporting to confirm their admission.

Reporting at the Allotted College

Candidates whose branch or college changes in the Final Phase must report physically at the newly allotted college between August 5 and August 7, 2026. They should carry all original certificates, allotment order, fee payment receipt, and self-reporting acknowledgement. Failure to report within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Updating of Joining Details by Colleges

The respective colleges will update the joining details of admitted candidates on August 8, 2026, marking the completion of the Final Phase admission process.

Internal Sliding

After the completion of the Final Phase, the Convenor will conduct Centralized Internal Sliding for University and Private Unaided Engineering Colleges. Candidates who have reported after the Final Phase are eligible to participate. Through Internal Sliding, candidates can exercise options for other branches within the same college against the leftover vacancies. Candidates allotted seats through Internal Sliding are eligible for Tuition Fee Reimbursement. No cancellations or dropouts are permitted after Internal Sliding.

Centralized Internal Sliding by Convenor

Candidates who have already joined after the Final Phase are eligible for Internal Sliding, which allows them to shift to another branch within the same college based on merit and availability of seats. Candidates can exercise options for internal sliding from August 12 to August 13, 2026. Tuition Fee Reimbursement is applicable for eligible candidates who are allotted a new branch through internal sliding.

Freezing of Options

Candidates must freeze their options on or before August 13, 2026 after carefully verifying their branch preferences. Once frozen, no further changes will be allowed in internal sliding options.

Provisional Allotment

The provisional allotment under Internal Sliding will be released on or before August 15, 2026. Candidates should check the allotment result and download the new allotment order if a branch change is allotted.

Self-Reporting and Reporting at College

Candidates who receive a new branch through internal sliding must complete self-reporting through the website and report to the newly allotted branch within the same college between August 16 and August 17, 2026. Failure to report within the given time will lead to cancellation of the allotment.

Spot Admissions

Spot Admissions for private unaided engineering colleges will begin from August 16, 2026 for remaining vacancies after internal sliding. The list of vacancies will be displayed on the college notice board, and colleges will issue separate notifications regarding spot admission schedules. The exact dates for spot admissions will be announced by the respective colleges.

The AP EAPCET 2026 Help Line Centers are one of the most important parts of the counselling process for engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy aspirants across Andhra Pradesh. After the release of AP EAPCET Results (expected on June 22, 2026) and counselling notifications, students immediately begin searching for helpline center lists, certificate verification locations, counselling support, and document verification guidelines.

The AP EAPCET 2026 Help Line Centers (HLCs) are the backbone of the decentralized counselling process in Andhra Pradesh. For students who have cleared the Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy entrance exams, these centers serve as the physical and digital touchpoints where certificate verification and counselling assistance take place.

Every year, thousands of students visit AP EAPCET Help Line Centers for certificate verification and counselling-related assistance before participating in web options entry and seat allotment. While the majority of document verification is now performed online, Help Line Centers remain essential for special category candidates (NCC, Sports, CAP, PH) and for those whose data fails the automated online verification system.

AP EAPCET 2026 Help Line Centers: Purpose and Importance

Every year, the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) designates specific government polytechnics and universities as Help Line Centers. Their primary roles include:

Special Category Verification: If you are claiming a seat under NCC, CAP (Children of Armed Personnel), Sports, or PH (Physically Handicapped) quotas, you must visit a designated HLC for physical document verification.

Data Correction: If your income certificate, caste certificate, or study details are not automatically verified by the portal, you must carry your original documents to the nearest HLC to get them manually updated in the system.

Counseling Assistance: For students without internet access or those unfamiliar with the web options process, HLCs provide computer facilities and staff assistance to exercise college choices.

The AP EAPCET 2026 Seat Allotment is the final and most critical stage of the entrance examination journey. For lakhs of students who have cleared the exam and exercised their web options, this phase determines which college and branch they will join for their professional careers. In 2026, the seat allotment process is conducted with high transparency by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

The AP EAPCET 2026 Seat Allotment and Fee Details are among the most searched topics by engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy aspirants across Andhra Pradesh. After completion of certificate verification and web options entry, students eagerly wait for the seat allotment results along with college fee details and admission-related information.

1. AP EAPCET 2026 Seat Allotment: Important Dates

Once the web options entry is closed, APSCHE processes the data based on merit, category, and local area.

Event

Expected Date

Release of Seat Allotment (Phase 1)

to be notified

Self-Reporting & Online Payment

to be notified

Reporting at Allotted College

to be notified

Commencement of Classwork

to be notified

Second Phase Notification

to be notified

Download Allotment Order: Once logged in, click on the link “Allotment Order”. This document will contain the college name, branch, and fee details.

Download Self-Reporting Form: This is a secondary document required for your college admission.

3. Details Mentioned on AP EAPCET Allotment Order

4. Post-Allotment Procedure: Self-Reporting & College Reporting

After the seat is allotted, you have two mandatory tasks to perform to “freeze” your seat. If you fail to do either, your seat will be cancelled and moved to the next phase of counselling.

Stage 1: Online Self-Reporting

Log in to the website and click on the “Self-Reporting” button.

An acknowledgement will be generated. This confirms that you are accepting the seat but still wish to participate in second-phase counselling (if you choose the “Accept but slide” option).

Stage 2: Physical Reporting at College

You must visit the allotted college with all your Original Certificates for a final physical check.

Submit a set of photocopies and the Allotment Order printout to the college administration.

EWS Certificate (if applicable).

6. Second Phase & Sliding Process

If you are not satisfied with your allotted college in Phase 1:

Accept the Seat: Perform self-reporting to keep the current seat as a “safety net.”

Participate in Phase 2: Fill new web options for better colleges.

The Rule: If you are allotted a new seat in Phase 2, your Phase 1 seat is automatically cancelled. If no seat is allotted in Phase 2, your Phase 1 seat remains intact.

7. AP EAPCET 2026 Fee Details & Reimbursement

Engineering college fees vary depending on:

Students should submit valid income certificates during counselling.

9. Common Mistakes Students Make After Seat Allotment

Not Downloading Allotment Order

Students should immediately download and print allotment copies.

Missing Reporting Dates

Failure to report may lead to cancellation.

Ignoring Tuition Fee Details

Candidates should verify fee structure carefully.

Not Carrying Original Certificates

Original documents are mandatory during reporting.

Depending Only on One Counselling Round

Students may also participate in later phases if necessary.

Final Word of Advice for Students

Check the “Fee Details” section on your Allotment Order carefully. If it mentions “Fee Reimbursement: Yes,” you do not have to pay the tuition fee at the college. Only the University Fee or Development Fee (usually ₹5,000 – ₹10,000) might be collected by the college at the time of joining.

Conclusion

The AP EAPCET 2026 Seat Allotment and Fee Details are extremely important for students seeking admissions into engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy colleges across Andhra Pradesh.Candidates should carefully verify allotment orders, understand tuition fee structures, and complete self reporting and college reporting within official deadlines.

The AP EAPCET (EAMCET) 2026 is the primary gateway for students in Andhra Pradesh to enter prestigious Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy colleges. However, simply qualifying in the exam is not enough. To secure a seat in a desired college, candidates must navigate the complex landscape of caste-wise cutoffs, eligibility criteria, and the 85% local reservation policy.

In Andhra Pradesh, the seat allotment process is heavily influenced by caste-wise cutoffs. Since the state follows a strong reservation system, the closing rank for a student in the Open Category (OC) will differ significantly from those in the BC, SC, and ST categories.

1. Understanding the Concept of “Closing Rank”

Before diving into the numbers, it is essential to understand what a cutoff rank (or closing rank) actually is.

Opening Rank: The best rank (lowest number) that secured a seat in a specific college and branch.

Closing Rank: The last rank (highest number) that was granted admission to that specific college and branch within a specific category.

For example, if the CSE closing rank for JNTU Kakinada for a BC-B candidate is 4,500, it means any BC-B candidate with a rank higher than 4,500 was likely not allotted a seat in that specific branch during that phase.

2. Expected Caste-Wise Cutoff for Top Branches (2026)

The demand for Computer Science (CSE) and Electronics & Communication (ECE) remains at an all-time high. Below is the expected closing rank matrix for top-tier colleges (University and Autonomous colleges) for the 2026 session.

A. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

CSE is the most competitive branch. In top colleges like Andhra University (AUCE) or JNTUK, seats usually fill up within the first few thousand ranks.

Category

Expected Closing Rank Range

Open Category (OC) – General

500 – 2,500

Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

1,500 – 4,000

Backward Classes – D (BC-D)

2,500 – 6,500

Backward Classes – B (BC-B)

3,000 – 7,500

Scheduled Caste (SC)

12,000 – 22,000

Scheduled Tribe (ST)

18,000 – 35,000

B. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

ECE is often the second choice for many toppers. The cutoffs are slightly more relaxed compared to CSE but still very competitive in Tier-1 colleges.

Category

Expected Closing Rank Range

Open Category (OC) – General

2,500 – 5,500

Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

4,500 – 8,000

Backward Classes – A (BC-A)

6,000 – 12,000

Scheduled Caste (SC)

25,000 – 45,000

Scheduled Tribe (ST)

40,000 – 65,000

3. Factors Influencing the 2026 Cutoffs

Why do cutoffs change every year? For the 2026 academic year, several factors are at play:

Normalization of Marks: Since the exam is held in multiple sessions (May 12–18), the difficulty level varies. The normalization process ensures that a student in a “difficult” shift gets a fair rank, which can shift the closing ranks by a few hundred positions.

Number of Qualified Candidates: In 2026, the number of applicants has seen a 5% rise compared to 2025. Higher competition usually leads to “tighter” cutoffs (lower closing ranks).

New Specializations: The introduction of more seats in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science in private colleges has slightly diverted the crowd from traditional CSE, potentially relaxing the CSE cutoffs in mid-tier colleges.

4. Detailed Category-Wise Reservation Breakdown

The AP EAPCET 2026 Seat Matrix is distributed as per the state’s reservation laws. This percentage of seats is reserved exclusively for the respective castes:

SC (Scheduled Caste): 15%

ST (Scheduled Tribe): 6%

BC (Backward Classes): 25% Total

BC-A: 7%

BC-B: 10%

BC-C: 1%

BC-D: 7%

BC-E: 4%

EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 10% (These are additional seats for OC candidates who do not fall under BC/SC/ST).

5. Local vs. Non-Local Cutoff Variance

A major “Manabadi” tip for students is to check their Local Area Status (AU, SVU, or NL).

85% of seats in a region are reserved for local candidates.

If you are an AU (Andhra University) region student (e.g., from Vizag or Guntur) applying to an SVU (Sri Venkateswara University) region college (e.g., in Tirupati), you will be treated as a Non-Local (Unreserved) candidate.

The Impact: The cutoff for a Non-Local candidate is significantly harder to meet. An OC student might need a rank under 1,000 to get a seat in another region that would have been available at 3,000 rank in their home region.

6. How to Predict Your College Based on Category Cutoffs?

Once the results are declared on June 1, 2026, follow these steps:

Check Your Integrated Rank: This is your state-wide rank.

Check Your Category Rank: This is your rank specifically within your caste.

Use the 2025 Closing Rank Data: Look at the last year’s closing ranks for your category in your target colleges.

The “Safety Margin”: Ranks usually fluctuate by 10% to 15%. If a college closed at 10,000 for BC-D last year, and you have a 9,000 rank, you are in a very safe zone. If you have an 11,000 rank, it is a “Moderate Chance.”

7. Important Note for Reserved Category Students

During the Certificate Verification phase (expected in July 2026), ensure your Caste Certificate and Income Certificate (issued after Jan 1, 2026) are valid and uploaded correctly. If the system fails to verify your caste status, you will be automatically moved to the Open Category (OC), where the cutoffs are much more stringent, and you may lose your seat in top colleges.

Conclusion

The AP EAPCET 2026 Caste-Wise Cutoff is the most important metric for your admission. While the competition for CSE in top-tier colleges remains intense for OC and EWS candidates, students in the BC, SC, and ST categories have a wider range of opportunities due to the reservation matrix.

Manabadi Advice: Do not ignore the Web Options strategy. Even if your rank is slightly higher than the previous year’s cutoff, always include the top colleges in your options list, as “sliding” and “second-phase” vacancies often lead to unexpected allotments.
