ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మెగా డీఎస్సీ 2024 నోటిఫికేషన్‌ విడుదల వాయిదా పడింది. నవంబర్‌ Last week డీఎస్సీ ప్రకటన జారీ చేసేందుకు పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ ఏర్పాట్లు చేసినా.. సాంకేతిక కారణాలతో వాయిదా వేస్తున్నట్టు ప్రకటించింది. టెట్‌ ఫలితాల వెల్లడి తర్వాత డీఎస్సీ ప్రకటన వస్తుందని నిరుద్యోగుల్లో ఆశలు రేకెత్తినా.. నోటిఫికేషన్‌ విడుదల కాక నిరాశకు గురవుతున్నారు. ఇప్పటికే చాలా మంది టెట్‌ ఉత్తీర్ణులైన అభ్యర్థులు డీఎస్సీ ప్రకటన కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు. ప్రైవేటు స్కూల్‌ ఉపాధ్యాయులు, నిరుద్యోగులు, చిరుద్యోగులు ప్రభుత్వ టీచర్‌ కొలువులు ఎలాగైనా సాధించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో కొన్ని నెలలుగా సన్నద్ధమవుతున్నారు. నోటిఫికేషన్‌ జారీపై స్పష్టమైన ప్రకటన చేయాలని అభ్యర్థులు కోరుతున్నారు. మరోవైపు మెగా డీఎస్సీ వాయిదా పడటానికి ఎస్సీ రిజర్వేషన్లే కారణమని తెలుస్తోంది. వయో పరిమితిలో సడలింపు, రిజర్వేషన్లపై స్పష్టత వచ్చిన తర్వాతే నోటిఫికేషన్ వెలువడే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో న్యాయ వివాదాలు లేకుండా నోటిఫికేషన్‌ ఇవ్వాలని విద్యాశాఖ యోచిస్తోంది.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants must have completed their Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
  2. Candidates should possess the necessary qualifications and certifications as per the norms set by the AP DSC.
  3. Age limit and relaxation rules will be specified in the official notification.

Application Process

Once the notification is released, eligible candidates can apply for the AP DSC examination through the official website of the Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee. The application form will be available online, and candidates will need to fill in the required details, upload relevant documents, and pay the application fee as per the instructions provided.

Exam Pattern

The AP DSC examination generally consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that assess the candidates' knowledge, teaching aptitude, and subject-specific expertise. The detailed exam pattern, syllabus, and marking scheme will be provided in the official notification.

  1. Bachelor's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (Spl.B.Ed)
  2. B.Ed (General) with one year Diploma in Special Education or General B.Ed degree with two year Diploma in Special Education
  3. General B.Ed degree with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Age Limit:

Candidates with age between 18-44 years of age can apply.

Exam for Principals, Music, art, crafts and drawing teachers has been Updated Soon. Some more dates have also been made in the exam centre allocations, according to the officials. The changes are made only to facilitate for the candidates who are attempting more than two papers and to give them some breathing time between the exams, said the officials. School Education Commissioner Sri Budithi Rajsekhar, IAS said that the DSC -2024 hall tickets will be available Soon. Candidates who are applied for School Assistants (Language and Non Language) can download the hall tickets from available soon.

Principal, PG, TG, LPT, PET, Music, Craft, Arts and Drawing Candidates can download. The SGT candidates are required to register the examination options soon of this month. Hall tickets will be available for SGT candidates.

As per the intial press meet the synopsis was as follows:
  1. DSC and TET will be conducted seperately.
  2. DSC is conducted for filling up of teacher posts in Government Schools, Zilla Praja Parishad Schools and Mandal Praja Parishad Schools.
  3. DSC exam will be conducted by District selection commission (DSC Board) constituted by the Government of Andhrapradesh.
  4. Selection of candidates is be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Main Examination (DSC Examination) to be conducted by the DSC (80%) and TET (20%) in all categories of posts except SA (Physical Education) and PET for which selection shall be 100% based on the Main Examination conducted by DSC
  5. The Vacancies are for SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher), SA (School Assistants other subjects), LPT (Language Pandits),PET (Physical education teacher)
  6. The actual (DSC) notification will be released by DSC board
  7. The rules for Selection are as follows:
    ** The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable
    ** The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Physically Challenged, Ex-service Men and Women is applicable
    ** No Physically Challenged quota should be extended for the School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher Posts
    **Physical Education Teacher should be filled with eligible meritorious candidates as per the Government Memo.No.1351/Ser.VI/2008-2, dated. 01.04.2008.
    **The number of candidates selected shall be equivalent to the number of vacancies notified. There shall be no waiting list and posts if any unfilled for any reason whatsoever shall be carried forward for future recruitment.

Educational Qualification required for AP DSC 2024:

For any Posts Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University/ Institution as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in G.O.Ms.No.25 School Education (General) Dept., as on the Date of Notification.

Qualification required for SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher):

    AND
  3. Pass in Paper I of AndhraPradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

  3. Pass in Paper II of Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.
Qualification required for SA (School Assistant):
  1. Must possess a Bachelor's degree with Physical Education as an elective from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC , the minimum marks shall be 45%)
    OR
  2. Must possess Graduation in Physical Education with 40% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC, the minimum marks shall be 35%) OR Graduation in Physical Education i.e., B.P.Ed, course of three years duration.
    OR
  3. Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks(In case of SC/ST/BC, the minimum marks shall be 45%).
    AND
  4. Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at least one year duration from any institution recognised by NCTE.
