Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially set out the information about VIT Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025 and opened registration, with applications coming in before March 31, 2025. The examination will be launched during a period from April 21 to 27, comprising 125 Multiple Choice Questions in such subjects. Results will be announced around April 30th 2015, and then counseling is in May.

VITEEE 2025 Applications | VIT B.Tech 2025-26 Admissions
The VITEEE 2025 will tentatively be held on April 21 to 27 at venues throughout India and abroad. There are 125 multiple choice questions in the test, running for two hours plus thirty minutes. In this, for every correct answer one mark is awarded; No points are taken away if you answer incorrectly. The exam format is 40 questions from Maths/Biology, 35 from Physics, 35 from Chemistry, 10 for Aptitude, and 5 for English. All are written in English.

VITEEE 2025: Steps to register
- Visit the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.
- On the homepage, locate the registration link and click on it.
- Fill in all the details and then sign in as a registered user.
- Input accurate information in the VITEEE 2025 application form.
- Make the payment and upload a photo and signature.
- Download the filled-in application form and keep it saved with you on your devices or take a print of it.
Nationality:
- The applicant should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National / PIO.
- Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only at https://admissions.vit.ac.in/irapplicationug/
Age Limit :
Candidates born prior to the date July 1, 1999 are eligible to apply for the UG Engineering Admission (UGEA) 2025. The date of birth on the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be approved as genuine. Candidates must present this certificate in its original form as evidence of age at the time of counselling or admission, or they will be disqualified.
Eligibility Criteria For The Qualifying Examination:
- Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2024 should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
- The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be minimum aggregate of 50% for the following categories
Candidates belonging to SC/ST:
Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Subject Eligibility:
Candidates having studied Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry in +2 / Higher Secondary Board are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes
Candidates having studied Biology/Physics/Chemistry in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for the following Bio stream programmes only. Upon joining, the students need to mandatorily register for a bridge course in Mathematics- B.Tech.Bio-engineering(VIT-Bhopal)
- B.Tech.Biotechnology(VIT, Vellore)
- B.Tech.Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Bioinformatics(VIT, Vellore)
- B.Tech.Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics) (VIT-Bhopal)
- B.Tech.Electronics and Communication with specialisation in Biomedical Engineering(VIT, Vellore)

Admission Process:
- Selection is based on the rank secured through Computer Based Test / Qualifying exam mark.
- Selected candidates will be called for online / onsite counselling based their ranking.
- Eligible Candidates may select specific campus and programme during the Counselling.
- After payment of full fees classes will be conducted online / reporting in person to the Institution.
- Candidates are expected to prove their genuineness on joining.
