Following an intense examination period held in February, over 9.71 lakh students across the state can finally access their scores. This year, the board has reported an impressive overall pass percentage of 86.83%, a marginal increase from the previous year.

The WBBSE President announced the results during a high-profile press conference at 9:30 AM, and the digital result links were activated at 10:15 AM. “This year’s result marks a significant achievement for the state’s education system, with Abhirup Bhadra from Uttar Dinajpur clinching the top rank with an impressive score of 99.71%.”

Method 1: Official Website
- Visit wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in.
- Click on the link “Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.) Results-Year 2026”.
- Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
- Submit and download your provisional marksheet.
Method 2: SMS Service
If the website is slow, you can get your result via SMS:
- Type WB10 RollNumber and send it to 5676750 or 56263.
- Your subject-wise marks and qualifying status will be sent to your mobile instantly.
Method 3: DigiLocker & Apps
Students can also use the DigiLocker app to download their authentic digital certificates. Search for “West Bengal Board of Secondary Education” under the Education category and provide your credentials.
Qualifying Criteria & Scrutiny Process
- Minimum Pass Marks: Students must secure at least 34% (272 out of 800) to be declared successful.
Post-Publication Scrutiny (PPS/PPR): Candidates who are unsatisfied with their marks can apply for Post Publication Review (PPR) or Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS). Applications must be submitted through the respective school heads within 15 days of the result declaration.
Compartment Exams: Students who failed in a maximum of two subjects are eligible for the supplementary/compartment examinations, likely to be held in late June 2026.
Understanding the Marksheet & Grading System
The digital marksheet contains the student’s Name, Roll Number, Registration Number, Subject-wise Marks, Grade, and Final Qualifying Status (P – Pass / F – Fail).
