The authorities have introduced comprehensive academic strategies to ensure top performance in the 2026 Intermediate Public Examinations. Under this initiative, the ‘Vijayapatham’ 100-day program is already in progress across Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs), while ‘Sankalp–2026’ will officially begin in all Intermediate colleges from Monday, according to Intermediate Education Director Ranjith Basha.
As part of the broader improvement plan, a special 100-day strategy for Class 10 (SSC) is also being finalized and will be implemented from next month. For the 2025–26 academic year, the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026 are scheduled to commence on February 23, 2026. Special academic support classes for Intermediate girl students in KGBVs will continue until February 20 to help them achieve the best exam results.

Daily Tests, Grand Tests Every 15 Days
To improve subject mastery and exam readiness, KGBVs have been instructed to conduct:
- Daily tests in two subjects
- A grand test every 15 days
- Continuous evaluation for both first- and second-year students
Government Junior Colleges have received a detailed day-wise academic schedule, effective from Monday until February 20. Classes will run from 9:10 AM to 5:00 PM, with 50 minutes allotted per subject, ensuring optimal learning hours based on student performance levels.
Director Ranjith Basha emphasized strict adherence to the prescribed timetable to maximize learning outcomes. This year, a total of 10,22,259 students will appear for the Intermediate exams — including 5,28,805 first-year and 4,93,454 second-year students.
