♦ An significant factor in the social, political, economic and health challenges facing the world today is insufficient education. Training has the potential for poverty, discrimination and conflict to be alleviated.
RanjitsinhDisale`s Contribution:
He converted a dilapidated building into a school, which later became the first school to implement a Quick Response (QR) code in Maharashtra. A barcode containing a matrix of dots is a QR code. A QR scanner or a smartphone with a built-in camera may be used to search it. He not only converts classroom textbooks into the native language of the student, but also embeds them in special QR codes so that audio poems, video lectures, storeys and assignments can be read by learners. He is also passionate about creating peace in conflict zones among young people. In India and Pakistan, Palestine and Israel, Iraq and Iran, and the United States and North Korea, his `Let`s Cross the Borders` initiative links young people.
Impact of Disale`s Efforts:
There is currently no record of adolescent marriage in the village, and the girls` enrollment rate has reached 100 percent. In 2017, the state government declared they will introduce QR code textbooks across the state for all grades. It was announced in 2018 that all NCERT textbooks would have embedded QR codes.
