Ed.CET– 2006 (ADMISSIONS) NOTIFICATION

   The qualified candidates of Ed.CET-2006 examination are informed to attend the counseling for admission into B.Ed. course for the year 2006–07 as per the schedule given below at any one of the following venues convenient to them.
1 Hyderabad Sankethika Vidya Bhavan, Masabtank
2 Warangal Govt.Polytechnic, M.G.M. Circle
3 Guntur Govt.Polytechnic for Women, Gujjanagundla
4   Visakhapatnam   Govt.Polytechnic, Kancharapalem
5 Tirupathi S.V. Govt.Polytechnic, Kapilatheertham Road
6 Kadapa   Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Ramanjaneyapuram   

    The candidates should produce all the certificates in ORIGINAL viz.

  • Ed.CET-2006 rank card or

  • Ed.CET-2006 Hall ticket.

  • Degree / Provisional Certificate and Memorandum of Marks along with pass certificate of Intermediate or its equivalent.

  • Certificate indicating Date of Birth (S.S.C or its equivalent).

  • Study certificates from 9th class to Graduation.

  • Residence certificate for preceding seven years of the qualifying examination i.e. Degree in respect of the candidates who have private study without institutionalized education.

  • Integrated Community certificate issued by the Competent Authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.

  • Residence certificate of Father/Mother for a period of 10 years in A.P. excluding the period of employment outside A.P. from M.R.O, in case of Non-local candidates

  • Transfer Certificate

  • Three sets of Xerox copies of all certificates and three recent passport size photographs.

  • Candidates who are studying P.G. and other courses shall have to undertake that he/she shall produce all original certificates within one week and a letter to that effect issued by head of the institution is to be produced.

    • The Tuition Fee for Government / University / Aided Non-Minority Private colleges is in between Rs. 2,740/- and Rs.12,500/- and for private un-aided non-minority/minority colleges it is Rs.12,500/-.

Registration & Counselling Fee:

addition to tuition fee, all the candidates have to pay Rs.100/- towards Registration fee. In addition to registration fee OC/BC candidates have to pay Rs.300/- each and SC/ST candidates Rs.200/- each towards counseling fee. Fee shall be remitted in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Convenor, Ed.CET-2006 payable at Hyderabad or in cash at the bank counters available in the admission camp. However, Caution Deposits if any shall be payable by the students at the college itself, when they report there for attending the classes. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying tuition fee if their parental income from all sources is less than Rs.50, 920/- per annum. The income certificate issued by M.R.O. after 1-1-2006 will alone be accepted.

Cancellation fee:

Cancellation fee of Rs.2000/- will be collected from each candidate who wishes to cancel his/her provisional allotment. However, the cancellation will be made only on valid reasons and at the discretion of the Convenor. Further, the cancellations will be permitted only at the end of this phase of admissions.

Note:
  • ‘ALL’ in respect of ‘CAT’ means OC/BC/SC/ST categories to consider them for Open Competition seats (OC).
  • This notification itself is a call for Counselling. No separate call letters are sent to the individuals.
  •  Mere attending the counseling does not guarantee a seat.
  • The details of the seats available in various colleges and branches will be notified at the time of Counselling and also on the Internet at http://eamcet.dte.gov.in/edcet.
