PHASE – I ADMISSIONS: COUNSELING SCHEDULE:

The following Rank candidates qualified in the DIET CET – 2008 for provisional admission into Two years Diploma in Education (2008-09 & 2009-10) course in Government DIETs and Private D.Ed colleges in the State are requested to attend the Admission counseling as per the schedule given below at WESLEY GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL, STREET OPP. TO KEYES HIGH SCHOOL, NEAR SECUNDERABAD RAILWAY STATION,SECUNDERABAD.

The candidates are requested to bring the following Original certificates viz.,

(1) Rank Card

(2) Hall Ticket of DIET CET-2008

(3) Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks of qualifying examination viz., Intermediate or its equivalent

(4) Certificate containing Date of Birth viz., S.S.C. or its equivalent

(5) Transfer Certificate where last studied

(6) Study Certificates from Class VI to Intermediate II year for regular candidates with school / college study, candidate with private study however has to bring Local Area certificate for the part or full of specified seven year period ending with the year of first

appearance at Qualifying examination (Intermediate or equivalent) from M.R.O. concerned.

(7)BC, SC, ST candidates have to bring Integrated Community Certificate issued by the

competent Revenue Authority.

(8) Income Certificate issued by MRO concerned.

All candidates have to bring (3) latest pass port size photographs along with the following D.Ed 1^st year fee in cash viz.,

Failure to pay fee or produce certificates in original at the time of counseling will entail forfeiture of seat.

Note:-

1. (a). Certificate (belonging to SC, ST and BC communities), who will have taken admission in a DIET under OC category are requested to attend again for “Sliding Counseling” on the same day (on which they are called under OC category) immediately after day’s OC counseling if they desire to change their admission to another DIET of their choice where such reserved vacancies are available at their turn.

(b). Candidates (belonging to SC, ST, BC categories) who are called under OC category but could not come up for admission in OC category can also be present during Sliding Counseling on the same day for considering allotment of seat under concerned reserved categories.

2. The candidate whose rank number figured more than once is requested to note the following : If he / she got a seat on the first day on which he / she is called, in the DIET of his / her Choice he / she need not attend again the subsequent day even though his / her rank number is repeated.

3. Reservation claims under SC/ST/BC candidates are subject to verification and approval by the departments concerned.

4. All the details of seats available in various DIETs/D.Ed colleges will be displayed at the time of counseling.

5. The candidates enjoying Non-local status are eligible to contest only for unreserved seats only.

6. This notification itself is a call to the above rank candidates to attend for counseling. Separate call letter will not be sent.

7. The candidates are requested to come prepared to stay one more day in case the counseling is not completed on the day intimated.

8. Conversion of seats from one category to another, and / or from one group to another within a category shall be done during counseling wherever and whenever necessary as per rules.

9. The number of candidates called for counseling is more than the seats available.

Hence seat is not guaranteed.

10. All admissions will be made as per Government rules, DIET CET-2008 modalities.

11. SPECIAL CATEGORIES: Candidates who have qualified in DIET CET-2008 Entrance Examination and who wish to claim admission under Special Categories viz. Defense/NCC/Scout/Sports only are requested to send one set of Xerox copies of their certificates in support of their claim along with Xerox copy of the Rank Card in the following proforma by Registered post with acknowledgement due to the Convenor, DIET CET-2008,Office of the Regional Joint Director of School Education, Warangal - 506001 on or before 05-11-2008, for verification by the respective competent authorities for their genuineness. Candidates who are claiming more than one category have to send separate covers for each category with all above details.

For Sport and Games category, the candidates possessing International and National

Certificates (i.e. those who represented Nation and State) are only required to send the Certificates. For NCC Category “B”/”C” Certificate holders need to send the Xerox copy of the participation at International Level/National Level/State Level and “B”/ “C” Certificates. For Scouts/Guides category, Xerox copy of Rashtrapati Scout/Guide Certificate issued by President of India alone to be sent. Candidates whose cases are cleared by the respective competent authorities shall alone be considered for counseling. Candidates need not send original certificates now. The certificates received after the said date will be rejected and no further correspondence will be entertained in the matter. Candidates who apply now alone will be considered for counseling.
