As of December 6, 712 students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, had received offers in the ongoing placement session for the academic year 2023–2024. These offers include a range of positions, including financial, analyst, product, software development, and core. The greatest offer from abroad is ₹ 2.05 crore, whereas the highest offer from within is ₹ 1.20 crore. A social media post from IIT Guwahati states that 38% of students have been hired for positions in core sectors, with 36% landing jobs in product and software development. Furthermore, 26% of students reported receiving offers related to financial and analyst profiles.
