After considering the obligations set by the Ministry of Education, the timetable is expected to be released this week following approval. With parliamentary elections on the horizon, exams are anticipated to begin earlier this time without any delay in the valuation of answer scripts. The academic year changed from March 15 last year. As the main exams of JEE (Mains) are scheduled between April 1-15, intermediate exams may conclude before that, and if there is a slight delay, students are likely to face some inconvenience. Therefore, it is suggested that intermediate exams should be conducted soon after the completion of the academic year, preferably from June 1. This will give students a breather before they start their next academic year. Practical exams are expected to be held in February.
