Due to covid, the AP government has decided to the cancellation of AP Open School Society class 10 and Intermediate examinations for the academic year 2021.

The board issued orders directing all students pass in class 10 and Intermediate examinations. According to Department of Education, Open School students are evaluated in the same way as regular students, based on the High Power Committees recommendations.Students in the Tenth grade will be assigned grade points based on information provided by the AP Open School Society. Inter students will be granted a 30 percent weightage on SSC scores and a 70% weightage on marks acquired in the preparatory examinations.

The School Education Departments Chief Secretary, B. Rajasekhar, has issued orders to this effect.
