Introduction:

Criticism means democratic judgment. An intellectual person with knowledge of the subject, necessary education required to supplement his knowledge giving his/her comments on the subject which holds importance can be called a critic. Critics have to keep themselves abreast with the latest developments of their fields and analyze them very critically.

Critics require a disciplined taste, historical and theoretical knowledge and a deep understanding of authors, filmmakers, or painters complete work. It should bring something to the body of art except for their instinctive opinion on the cultural object. Sometimes the review is done by a critic without passing any judgment on the work because one of the objectives of a review is to initiate an intelligent conversation about the work that is being reviewed.
